what would be the easiest way to build up blacksmithing from about 100 up? ive only been mining mostly in thunder ridge in durotar, but i get really annoyed that 70 copper bars can only rise my skill by like 6-8 points. thanks

Well smelting the bars stops being at all viable for skill ups pretty quick, around 100 or so I believe you're still working on Tin as I think Iron starts around 125 or so. You need to move out of Durotar and head for Barrens and get those Tin veins. The basic progression is Copper > Tin > Iron > Mithril > Thorium. Just check this site or thottbot for where you can find those veins and happy hunting :-)

well green iron bracers are a good bet when you learn those they cost 6 iron bars and 1 green dye and can be turned in at the darkmoon faire for tickets :D
also iron counterwights dont take much i recomend armor and miscelanious bits
and offer to sell weaps with resources too
