So a few nights ago on the way back from the STV chest my friends and I start talking Alchemy. Suddenly my paladin friend says "Well I have these water walking potions I sent myself from my alt..." and immediately I told him no, those don't exist. We argued for a while, and he tried looking for them in his mailbox. They weren't there of course... I checked Thottbot, and there isn't one. Am I correct?

The second thing that my paladin thing said is you can BUY the Swiftness Potion recipe in Darnassus, near the Alchemy trainers. I highly doubted it and even went and checked. Isn't a drop like Thottbot says?

Thanks. Yes, my friend can be hard-headed sometimes. :)

A priest can water walk with a spell...

No, there isn't a potion at this time to allow water walking. Swim speed and Water breathing yes.

As for the swiftness potion, there's no way you can get that recipe from a vendor.

I could be wrong, but I think that’s a shaman only spell.

Correct Calabar, but preist can cast levetate and that lets them walk on water too, as well as helping with falls, so while Water walking is a shaman spell, preists Levetate allows water walking, and then some.
