I don't know if i'm missing something, but I am seeing that Engineering at low lvls needs copper bars. You can get copper bars by smithing copper ore, but you need mining to get copper bars? Wouldn't that be 3 professions?

No no no, bars are made with "SMELTING" wich is a skill one gets with mining.
