Best Class for Farming MoneyFollow

What do you think is the best class overall for farming money?

Most people will tell you either a Rogue or a Mage are the best for farming. Almost anyone can tell you that gold-sellers are almost always Rogues (if they work solo).

The plus side to rogues is that they do high damage quickly, making it very easy to run through enemies and get drops/money from them.

The plus side to mages is somewhat the same; at later levels they have AoE spells to kill 6-10 enemies at once (as long as certain conditions are met, etc etc).

Unless you plan on spending almost all your time grinding, though, I would say your professions are more important than your class is.

If you want to be able to kill anything outside of instances with any sort of speed, I can tell you from experience: don't be a Protection-specced Paladin ^_^;

Just wanna point something out ... As a 60 Hunter I occasionally need to farm money or whatever for alts, etc. Easiest place to do that is Azshara, where Rogue farmers are very common though ...

But as a level 60 Hunter, I kill faster than a Rogue the majority of the time. With a 16% ranged crit chance, and it seems a lot more often than that, and with crits at 600 on the Satyr there, I kill twice as fast as any of the Rogue farmers. Mostly because farmers don't have gear that's all that great.

Only time they beat me is when I have to sit down and take a drink of water or heal my pet or something.
