First of all, your insult would carry more weight if you bothered to type it like someone who is vaguely aware of effective communication. "u stuipd ***" makes you look like a computer owning version of the cliche "slack-jawed yokel".

Secondly, I came across 4 bugged ore deposits in a row and, aside from being generally peeved about it and needing to vent, thought that the matter might deserve some attention. I also thought that maybe some others would feel like venting as well. If no one does, that's fine. That doesn't make me a "stuipd ***".

Were they all copper? The only bugged deposits I ever found were copper ones... but, like you, I found three in a row that were bugged ^_^; And I kept thinking "when I mine this one, I can finally stand up!... oh... damn" :-P

Yup, they all seem to be copper... maybe it's Blizzard trying to stop us rolling mining alts!

I sent a bugged report and received the standard "We are aware of this and are diligently working on fixing the problem." There is one in Duskwood, just south of the bridge to Westfall that I hit the first time, tried again later, then forgot about it the third (Was coming from the opposite direction) froze me each time. That is when I finally told them about it. There are several others as well. That one has just finally pushed me.

There is one that I like to call the bugged copper vein of DOOM!!! and it is in dun morough right after dropping from the walkway of IF and always and I mean always glitches, but what we should do is turn this into a list of possible bugged mineral deposits so people know to stay away. Just an idea

We really can't make a list when the bugged points move. I have made 3 different characters that started in Dun Morough and took up mining (2 dwarf, 1 gnome). I have found bugged mining points and then gone back to them a day or 2 later and have no problem and vice versa. It changes from day to day, but it is a fact that I have only found this bug with copper mines.

Ugh I know what you mean it is a total pain when you freeze because of what I call a dead mine. I for one can't get enough of the Lo Pan floating action (see movie Big Trouble in Little China) you do when you strike at a dead mine.

Does anyone know what causes this? And is there any other way besides logging out counting back from 10 and screaming in your hands that you can rid yourself of the Lo Pan?

I found that the copper mines closest to IF have the highest percentage of being bugged. Although in the recent patch they seem to have fixed this problem.

I have found Tin and Iron and once a gold mine that was bugged.
I figured it had something to do with being hit to many times and it just ends up being messed up.
I have also found Herbs that also are bugged I had the same conclusion, But hell I have no idea how they have it set up and it could have nothing to do with that but they did all have one thing in commom that led me to beleive it was true. They where maily all in high traffic areas so I thought they got hit more often. lol I still remember the first one I hit that bugged I hit it and ran around jumping trying to get it to stopp crouching, so I logged and tried again thinking it way my crappy PC at the time.
"The definition of insanity is doing the same thin and expecting different results"

However before I logged again I noticed that I got a skill up so I logged and hit that stupid thing maybe 3 or 4 more times to round out my skill to like 45 or 55 or something like that.

I feel your pain!

And I also thought I was out of the woods when I left the copper mining, but just the other day I was in Badlands and got stuck from an Iron deposit. [mope]

Whoo, and I thought I was the only one with this problem because my PC sucks so bad. ^^

Yep, ran into several bugged spots last night... and don't get me wrong, I like floating around like Lo-Pan but I don't like not being able to loot corpses while I'm in that "stance." And the only way out seems to be for me to either logout (completely out of the questions if it's queue-time on Illidan) or to find another mining spot that actually works.

Hope they fix this soon. :D
