I am just now starting Leatherworking for the first time on an alt. I just started went to the trainer and it says LW (apprentice) requires lvl 5 already...how am i supposed to already have 5 LW skill ? I dont understand how i can start LW if it requires skill i dont have...

NPC = to buy apprentice req. lvl 5 LW

Perhaps its Character level... ill go try that out. I just wanted to get it started as soon as possible haha.

It is character level... You can't get professions until level 5
