yet another Skinning threadFollow

All over Feralas has great skinning, I went from 270-300 in Feralas. The best places i'd say are th yeti caves. The more southerly one is like level 42-45, shouldn't be a problem for you, the other might be tougher, it is around 47-50, hope you get to the 300 :) and good luck.

Thank you so much! i'll have to garb afriend to help me cause i know i can't take on one of thos yetties higher than me just yet. perhaps i'll stick with the bears and wolves around the town? or head to Tanaras and farm turtles? :) i need lots of turtle scales. lol

Actually mine went up from these 44-50 when I was ike lvl 43, I found the best way to go was just follow a high level, a rogue or a warrior (both around the level of the yetis, most of them i find don't need the leather or can't get it) I follow a 47 warrior. Not only was the leather great, but I finished a quest while I was there from getting hides :P.

TIP:

Skinning Skill / 5 = orange,

so if you have Skinning 125, divide it by 5, equals 25. Kill beasts that are lvl 25, or close to 25.

I dropped my skinning 300, just to take it up again fter a week, i managed to jump from 1 skinning to 250 in less than 3 hours.

skinned 1 to 60 in kharanos
skinned 60 to 75 in loch modan
skinned 75 to 125 in wailing caverns
skinned 125 to 160 in southshore, especially that YETI cave.
skinned 160 to 250 in STV, and still going to.

I found Tanaris a nice place to skin in my 40s. You can get the scorpid scale there as well and every once in a while, you can knock off a gusting vortex for a breath of wind. A nice little bonus.

Once you get to ~50, you can move next door to the crater.
