Help with Tribal LeatherworkingFollow

#1 Jun 16 2005 at 1:49 PM Rating: Decent
I'm a level 52 Druid who has leatherworking up to 272, and i know where the Tribal Leatherworking NPC is but i can't get her to teach me anything. Are there any prerequisite requirements in order to get her to teach me Tribal Leatherworking? It's the NPC at Ferales right? Do I have to be level 55 in order to obtain the quest or do I just create Wild leather vest and helmet and bring it directly to the NPC?

Also, i heard tribal leatherworking is the best for Druids. What do you guys think? Currently, I've put most of my echelon into "healing" but I kind of want to change it to either feral or balance. I think balance would be cool but it could never compare to a mage.

No, i actually haven't learned wicked leatherworking. What other things do i need to do other than wicked leatherworking? And where do i learn wicked leatherworking?

actually,

in camp mojache (for horde, for alliance its the one base close to feralas not sure if it was feathermoon) you need to do all wildleather quests in order to have him let you specialize for tribal leatherworking...

bring a couple of wildvines and lots of leather and quite a few turtle scales with you.

hope it helps

Tribal LW give you +INT and +SPI bonuses so if your Druid is Mana heavy then it is for you. You need to talk with Pratt McGrubben in Feathermoon at Feralas and make some stuff for him before you can do the Tribal Stuff. Be warned the Q's for McGrubben need i think 192 thick leather and about 120 turtle scales. So get farming!

Alright great I finally got tribal leatherworking! THanks to all that replied to my post. But i came to the realization of another problem....so my warcraft is in a different language but directly translated into english, the material i need is some kind of devilsaur leather. It can be found off those Elite level 55 dinosaurs at the bottom of kalimdor, but those are really hard to kill especially since there are so many horde on our server. I think the ratio is 3:2...anyhow is there another place where it's easier to get this kind of leather?

Whoa...and I just took a look at armor for druids, what is up with all the purple armor that says like "warlord dragonhide" or "Marshall's dragonhide" where do you get all that? I'm assuming this is supposed to be the best armor that druids can ever get. Is this some quest we get when we're 60 and if we manage to complete it we can get this stuff @_@?

devilsaur leather only drops from devilsaurs which are only found in un'goro.

Find a couple friends to go help you hunt them, or one thats a bit higher then you.

You can gain xp and the leathers that way.

Just watch out for king mosh, he's a bastage.

The armor sets you discovered are pvp sets, you get from through the honor reward system.
