Ok my mining is about 150 and I would like to level it to a decent level now but I am having a hard time finding a good area of iron deposits. If anyone knows a good area or anything at all please post.

Northern STV is pretty good for me, especially the part near the baby raptors.

Badlands works great for me. but you probably have to lvl a bit
Thousand Needles, aka, Thousand Ores. It has everything you need to eventually get you to Thorium, and it's a high 20s to mid-30s zone. Tons of iron in it (hint: check the caves in the area and around the sides of the Shimmering Flats)

you might also wanan check out the cave in hillsbrad full of cave yetis (i think it's called Darrow hill), some mythril pops up, a chest that spawns every hour (i think) and the yetis can be skinned. great to grind from 33-35, and for the skinners.

I spent a lot of time among the ogres in the snowy area above Southshore with my paladin. If you don’t mind grinding, this is a great spot. The ogres are easy to single pull. They are about your level. And they drop lots of silk that can be used for trade skills or sold in the auction house. Best of all iron, mithril and truesilver spawn all around the valley.
I spent many levels there for all the above reasons. If you are just after the ore, but sure to expand your search to the snow yeti area as well, including around the side of the mountain. There’s only one problem with this area, everyone and their pet gerbil knows about it. A lot of players make regular rounds looking for ore. But if your lucky or play during off hours you can dig up a fair amount of ore.

The mountins ridge around STV is the by far best place to mine Iron , one round can easily fetch you 50-60+ iron, along with some mithril
Duskwood and alterac are the best places for iron I think.
