I don't want to reroll leatherworking.Follow

If you've chosen to branch out into a particular leatherworking tree (i.e. tribal, elemental, or dragonscale) and you want to switch, is that impossible? Completely rerolling the profession doesn't seem worth it just to change trees.

No,if you read what they say, they are VERY clear on this. it is a lifetime choice.

Actually, it’s worse than that. You would have to start a new character. Even if you drop leatherworking and level it up again you still won’t be able to select a different path. Once you make that choice for your character its set for the life of that character.

It can be a pain, but as Capitolg pointed out Blizzard does give us plenty of warnings that our decisions can’t be changed. I know when I was doing the quest to choose between goblin and gnomish engineering I was told five or six time that whatever my decision it would be final.
