I've been looking around boards for a while and cant find my answer so maybe someone can help. Is there a quest to do when u get to uldaman or is it just a trainer? If there is a quest what mats do i need. Also, does anyone know how much dust to bring to get to 240 or whatever the max is for this trainer. Thanks

There is a trainer in the instance in Uldaman that gives you artisan enchanting plus many of the skills... just like the lower level ones. Get ready to buy yer truesilver rod :P

Sorry, Artisan anything (that I've seen) cost 5 gold. Bring at least another 5 for recipies. I still haven't bothered getting my TS rod so I'm not sure how many of what materials.

I would go to goblinworkshop or thotbot or sumthin to look it up...

I've not done it myself yet but the recommendations I've seen were to bring

60 Vision Dust
20 Dream Dust
14 Greater Nether Essence
15 gold

It's a trainer but she'll only appear after you kill all the little scorpions in her room. I think the max is 250. Easiest way to do it is to bring a lev 55+ buddy with you and have them clear the path.

I haven't heard of people taking care of everything there in one shot - its something you'll have to go back for... Unless you're really set on wasting a lot of reagents to get the skill ups.

Why do you think it's wasted components? You would be enchanting your own and your groups equipment, giving everybody a lasting benefit in return for helping you reach the enchanter trainer. It's not like you burn components and get nothing for it...

I got one of my guilds high level warriors to clear my path into Uldaman for the Artisan enchant skill ups and enchanted both of our characters equipment so I could get all the skills at the same time.

Morthandeus has it about right on the powders you will need to use to obtain all the skills.

Hit 250 skill this weekend, for some reason I can't find my Greater Nether Essence (buried in mail? lost forever? don't know!) so I did it with lots of Vision Dust insted of GtNE and Dream Dust. After 245 it is very expensive in terms of Vision Dust per skill point.

By using the backdoor into Uldaman you can get to the trainer very quickly, so overall the drawbacks of her being in the instance isn't huge if you can call on friends to get you past the mobs.
