Can someone help me out in understanding the order of powders / Essences / Shards?

I've been disenchanting a lot of stuff and I keep finding new stuff (like a pink powder) that I'd never seen before and don't have any recipies to use.

If someone could post the order it would really help me out a lot in terms of what to keep around and what not to keep so much.

I've tried looking in some FAQs and stuff and havent found it and it seems like the list of stuff is never ending.

The list of the stuff is fairly extensive but....
Essence - usually from weapon
Dust - usually from armor
Shard - usually from blue item

The type you get tends to be from some logic on blizz' behalf. I'm at lev 47 but at 285 ench. The better enchants for me come from lev 50-60 gear, but for a while it was fairly close to my own level gear.

the enchanting pdf has a good description of what you need for enchants as well as some basic info (approximate value, sources...)

OK. Here's what I've found. Please let me know if I'm missing anything. Skill numbers are approximate but it gives you the relative order anyway.

Dusts:

Strange 0-165 Enchanting Skill

Soul 165-190

Vision 195-245

Dream 250-285

Illusion 290-300

Essences:

Magic 0-120 Enchanting Skill

Astral 130-170

Mystic 175-220

Nether 220-265

Eternal 275-300

Shards:

Glimmering 120-170

Glowing 175-220

Radient 245-285

Brilliant 295-300
