Mining?? B**tard stepchild or something?Follow

So, why is the Tradeskill "Mining" missing here?
No info under Quests, Trade Skills, or trainer locations.

Also, At a pretty LOW level in Engineering, I am asked for Silver to make contacts and such... When / Where do I go for that?


Mining seems to be pretty...bland. (But I NEED it for Engineering... purchasing Copper/Tin is EXPENSIVE!)

Basically, silver is a rare spawn of tin. Every once in a while, where there would normally be a tin spawn, there's a silver node instead.

For Horde, there are very few good places to go. I'm told there's a cave in southern Silverpine, but I can't vouch for it. For Alliance, though, there's a wonderful mine off in the west of Westfall, right next to the coast: Gold Coast Quarry. Lots of copper, lots of tin-- I was lucky and found several silver there, also. The mobs are only level 14 and 15, so are no big deal. It's a wonderful place, indeed.
