were there any recent fishing problems?Follow

on Sat nite, i was able to fish in menethil harbor just fine with 2 different chars. i started fishing there at about 85 and 120 skill..added the worms for a +50 buff. caught a few stacks of various fish that we normally can catch there. went to darkshore, had no problems there either.

but on Sun and Mon I was barely able to get any fish bites, even though the skill was higher then before. i tried in the afternoon and evening RL time, ie, server times were different. I tried on Darkshore and Darnassus dock. same result: hardly any fish bites.

does anyone know if there is some game factor that affects fishing success? up until this time, i had always had quite an easy go of getting bites and catching fish. now, i could cast 5-7 times in a row in waters that were way below my skill level and not have a single nibble.

I noticed the same thing today while fishing. I had many more get away than is typical..............

Tues and Wed nite i continued to fish for 10-20 minute spurts in the same locations I mentioned before. Still the same results...several casts in a row with absolutely no bites in zones where I would be reeling them in if they let us train in a skill to add 3-5 rods like real fishermen hehe.
