I'm having a bit trouble choosing tradeskill combinations for my characters. Anyway what tradeskill combinations would you recommend and for what class? (you may include secondary tradeskills as well.)

If you ask me I am a orc warrior, currently developing herbalism and alchemy, but I will remove herbalism once I gather enough herbs(or till it starts to bore me).On its place I intend to place enchanting. Why?Because warriors,as we all know, are gear dependent,so I will make some RAD adjustments to my armor. And ofcource, anyone who is aware with the alchemy skills knows what cool potions you can create speshialy for warriors(agility, fortitude, defense, atack power, holy resistance..etc.)and the warrior is all locked and loaded for tanking and ripping.........stuff:)
WELL,THAT S MY OPINION.GOOD LUCK WITH YOUR COMBINATION.

MisterGull,

Almost all trade skills are useful to all the classes. From your question though I guess you'd like a list of what are the most common choices. As far as secondary skills go (cooking, first-aid & fishing), you should try each of them. Here are suggestions for primary trade skill combinations:

Hunters: engineering / mining, Leathercrafting/ skinning.

Druids: See hunters

Rogues: See hunters

Warriors: Alchemy / Herbalism, Black smithing / mining, engineering /mining.

Paladins: See warriors

Priest: Cloth / Enchanting, Herbalism / Alchemy, Engineering / Mining.

Mage: See Priest

Warlock: See Priest

Try that trade skill which you think you'd enjoy. For example, A paladin might enjoy cloth crafting. Having the ability to make your own bags can be great! In later levels such a combination could prove very profitable.

Also in regards to Secondary skills, it may seem like a waste to train in cooking, but a roasted Wolf sells for a great deal more than simple tender wolf meat.

Well whatever. Thanks anyway, but I was hoping a bit more about Enchanting. If I were a Tauren Shaman would I have use for Tailoring? Or do you think I'm better off without another skill.
