Hunter you say...?
Well I'd go off with Leathering/Skinning, Blacksmithing/Mining, or Engineering/Mining.
Leathering/Skinning: Would help you a Hunter for a long time through this game. Providing yourself with upgradable armor every few level ups, which would help and save you gold (from buying armors from AH "auction house"). Getting the materials from skinning, which is entirely very easy to skill up, and not to mention numerous beasts to skin! Leathering later on will being providing more advanced recipes to make Mail Armors, which Hunters can wear after level 40.
Blacksmithing/Mining: Would help you a Hunter with his main, or whatever you would like (etc. 1h/2h weapons) hand weapon. Providing yourself with the skill to upgrade and twink up the weapons, which would please you the most! Getting the materials is some what easy as well, find/fight in caves, fight along mountain sides, rugged hills, below waters, and on boulders! Also having the Mine Radar helps you spot the mines faster! There are alot of extreme weapons you can make later on with Blacksmithing, helping you save gold from purchasing though AH.
Engineering/Mining: Would help you a Hunter alot as well, since Hunters Prime Damage is through their Pets/Range Attack. Providing yourself with the skill to upgrade and twink up rifles/guns, and hunters got talent points for updating range attack skills! Getting materials with mining, which isn't difficult, and the other materials can be bought from engineering material stores, or from AH. Guns/rifles tend to be a little more difficult to find, so having this trade skill will help you save time from finding them, and gold from purchasing from AH.
So its your choice to decide what would suit you best. You can disaggree with my info, or take it in use, goodluck as a Hunter!
