Hi all -- I am thinking of returning to Shiva. I started playing when FFXI was released in NA about 7 years ago. My characters were Kazenokoe and Mirelle. Just wondering how hard it will be to play or get back into the groove of things after 9 months. I have a few jobs at 75 and such, but wonder if I need the new Abyssea stuff to progress :) Anyone that has known me, HIHI :)

The fastest way to get back in game is to get the battle addons xping in abyssea is mind boggling fast also pretty much the number one thing people are doing is abyssea since the gear blows away most anything we had prior. You can save the $30.00 for all three visions/scars/heroes but to be honest they are the best addons to this game ever. Giving us atmas for all the old content we have done is just sexy as well....
