Hey all.
I was this night at that palace in San d'Oria and there were a bunch of ppl waiting till someone was gonna marry.
So i waited to and followed them but they said i had to turn back cause i was not invited -_- (now they miss my cute taru dance...)

So, think im gonna marry myself cause i wanna see how a wedding goes ingame.
Need to find a cute taru girl first ofcourse...
But anyways, im posting this thing cause i wanna know if you can divorce ingame lol.
Not that im planning that but was just wondering...
What if you married a girl ingame and she stops playing.
What will happen then???
Are you forever bonded with that person while she is already deleted?

And what about the Mog House, do you share the same Mog House + all your items with someone or not?

Its really just a ceramony, the wedding outfit for the girl and you both get rings with your names on them. You dont get anything else.

Usually thats why most couples get married in hard to get places for noobs or random players.(not saying your a noob though.) Majority will have it in the Hall of the Gods, or Bibiki Bay or that undersea area in Aht Arghan. Had mine at the top of Castle Zvahl.

As for the Mog House sharing, its not true. The houses and safes don't combine which is good in a way to prevent stealing if the relationship turns sour or if someone else logs in your wife/husband's account. As Nesssie also mentioned the wedding outfit for the girl is Rare/Ex and is the Wedding set, not Ceramonil or Opaline. The ring can either have your partner's name or both your initials.

As for divorce, you can re-marry but I'd assume you'd have to toss the wedding ring cause it is Rare/Ex.

to divorce you partner has to end there account and leave the game for six months or a period of time around that lengh, at this point you can then re-marry. my best friends husband left the game, lol, shes hanging onto the hope that he ended his account. ^^

You need to designate some dude/dudette as a chaperone, if you're the one wanting to get married. Then you just have them go on the POL viewer and fill out an application form.

Information you need to fill are chaperones name, bride's name, groom's name, what the bride and groom are wearing (in bride's case, does she want the Wedding outfit or no), the weapon they are gonna have equipped, where the wedding is to be held, how many people will attend, and if you want names on the rings or initials. Initials are BtoG and GtoB (Bride's nameToGroom's name, Groom's nameToBride's nameor some such nonsense. Then you select 3 different time slots on a calendar (day and time, up to a month). It's based on a lottery, and not all days are available, can't remember off-hand which days weddings can occur on.

I chaperoned for some of my friends, really just a big hassle, they got rejected for the first month or so, and I had to resubmit again, about a month and a half after I initially filled it out they won, and they let you know about 5 days in advance of the wedding. They send out a message asking you to confirm and if you want to change anything. We did, cuz they wanted a bigger place so more people could come, and even though we submitted the changes ahead of the 3 day cutoff date before the wedding, they still messed it up, so they had to get married where they originally wanted (but not ultimately wanted, because they wanted more attendees). Speaking of attendees, it's very misleading, since the form says how many guests you want, 15, 20, 25 etc. So ahead of time you think of the 20 people you want, blah blah. Then during the rehearsaly thingy the Wedding Master gives this nice macro'd speech about all the rules and crap. Then you find out that the bride, groom and chaperone are counted as guests, so now your 20 guests has to be cut to 17. REAL nice.

So the entire linkshell that was invited to the bride n' grooms wedding cuz the location was changed (and SE sent out a message confirming the change) the WM didn't get that memo (shoulda made sure she got that Memo, we're putting new coversheets....) that had to be cut down to close(r) friends only, which had to be cut down further because SE is full of idiots.

The most fun with the whole thing was making smartass comments to (and about in /tell) the Wedding Master. I screenshotted a few during the reheasal practice thingy too.

About her not knowing her folly, I'm slightly notorious for macro'ing entire songs and singing them to.......whoever I wanna annoy at the time, linkshell, parties, /tells to people, in front of the AH in Aht Urgan....
Nothing says "I love you" like the Sailor Moon theme song getting spammed to you in /tell while your busy kiting Kirin or tanking in Dynamis.
