Empress Hairpin 500k do you need it?Follow

#1 Oct 18 2006 at 2:35 PM Rating: Good
What 500k gets you, guaranteed drop, no matter how long it takes. It shouldn't take long I have over 500 Valkurm Emperor claims, 45% droprate approximately, my 75thf/37 ranger owns VE.

I will save you hours of frustration, and save you a decent amount of gil from the "Emperor's Hairpin". So if you want to save gil, or want to get Empress hairpin to sell your "Emperor's", it matters not.

Also you benefit from "Mercenary/client" relationship, I will never tell anyone who I work for, ever.

My fee is non-negotionable, and has to be paid up front.

If for any reason we break to come back for another pop, or something comes up, I will return said fee back to you.

First come, first serve.

If you can't make camp time for whatever reason, expect to be bumped to next in line.

Happy Hunting to all!

P.S. Send me a /tell ingame if interested, or just to say "Hi"

asking for 500k up front is a bunch of money...

but on the same hand, i vouch for goodknight he has been to my casino quite a bit and is good on his word.

My reputation preceeds me, ask around, I may be an ***, but I never lie, or rip anybody off.

My policies are etched in stone.

My time is valuable I try not to waste it, and my knowledge of the "Valkurm Emperor" is priceless. Actually the knowledge is free, I posted it on Allak a while back on how to camp VE, somebody got it sticky somewhere.

See you online!

OK Shiva, save your gil. If you in fact need an Empress Hairpin, rather than do it for you, simply send Goodknight a tell and I'll tell you exactly how to get it, and this method works like a charm. Beware that you may not have the jobs needed for this method, but I will show you exactly how to get it for FREE. Don't pay for a rare/ex item, that's the best part of it, it shows that you earned it.
And thank you tarutaru, I am sure I will lose a lot more money to you, and have a blast in the process :)

I'll do moldy, same deal^^

I have done my share of free hairpins, and I welcome anybody who offers to do it for free. I find that talk is cheap, and few people will put in the time, even after saying they would.

You may not understand or agree, but I offer a valueble service for a fair price.

I am not just a man, I'm thee man.

What the hell, people pay 500k for moldavite? Damn, I've helped a few people get that stupid earring a few times now, and all this time I did it for free. I'm 6/8 on it, (suck it Blackmage forums!). Got one for myself cuz nobody else was around when he popped while I was leveling npc on cockatrice's. Maybe I should get some belated payments....

Poki, some people have great luck with the earing, others (like most of FableUnity it seems) have rotten luck. I personally am not a NM fan. I hate them. I don't pursue them unless I absolutely need something or I have direct control over the pop conditions. I have limited time to play the game - I don't enjoy spending hours just waiting with no gaurantee I'll get the claim, much less the drop. This is also part of why I'll never join a HNMLS, even though I'd love the chance to fight the wyrms.

I don't know my record on MMP. A friend of mine is 0/38. I would have to guess I've killed him well over 50 times with various people, and lost the claim even more. I've tried to get the stupid thing for well over a year, and spent many weeknights and weekends camping him. I've seen the drop only a handful of times (read less than 5), and when it did drop, I lost the lot. I think you can see why some people would get really frustrated and think about just paying for it. After all, with all the time I spent camping for it, I could make the 500k gil numerous times over. (And yes, I do know the pop timer and I'm only counting the 30 min spawn window for each pop).

Seemed I was never lucky enough to stumble in on MMP unclaimed, despite other people claiming it happens "all the time." Maybe it's just the hours I play. 90% of the time I was there it was camped by RMT.

In any case, I was finally fortunate enough to get the damned thing last weekend. And no, I didn't pay for it, but I was just about ready to. Now there's only 5 or so other FU people I know that need it -.-

I can't believe people are actually stupid enough to pay for it, honestly. How much is the AH version? I helped a few people out, didn't get it for em, but took em down there and showed em how to do it. I hope I never see you down there agm, might have to put that cockiness in check for ya >.>

Over 500 claims, get over your petty jealousy, or better yet start a new post offering to do Ve and various NM for free, but unlike you I guarantee the drop, no matter how long, or how many days it may take. Any bonehead can point to the dunes, and say "It pops here" lmao

BRILLIANT!

Hey, wasn't tryin to start new beef, was just messin around hehe. I don't have a prob what you do, if you get paid for it, that's pretty nice.
Nah, I took some people down there, and showed them the best way to camp with whatever they had available. Showed em the widescan method, and if they didn't have thf leveled, I'd at least recommend powder boots for flee and so on.
I also told em they almost need a thf! Drop rate sucks. I would do LL for some peeps, but its been a long time and I forgot which one was his placeholder.

Anyway agm keep doin what you're doin, I'm just messin with ya
