I wonder if there's any bards, red mages and white mages that would humor me in King Ranperre's tomb in a bones party but with a different setup. 4 WHMS/NIN, BARD, RED MAGE. I'm also a 75 monk but I think it'd be more fun to try with a bunch of meleeing whms. Anyone be interested in that?

Ohhh, sounds like fun, 75brd here, I'm game. If nothing else, we can outlast them! Smiley: yippee

I've never done a bones pt as brd though, (have as a mnk, 75) so bear with me on that, though I have pulled in AU zones.

I usually play in the mid to late evenings (and often, early mornings). Just look me up, I'm surprisingly called, Pokiehl.

hell, i can barely get 1 whm to come to a bones party with me. most of them seem to soil their leggings when they see 3-4MNK/WARs will be tanking. then urinate themselves when they see 4 skelies bum rush the party and the MNKs split up and start soloing each one.

Unfortunately, StormIvan, KRT stands for King Ranperres Tomb. It is divided into several levels, one low, one 50s to 60s and 1 high (end game 70s). Usually, you will have BLMs manaburning there at 69, or MNK pts there at 74-75 with WHM BRD RDM for healing as most of the mobs there are skeletons (tomb right?) and MNK have a damage bonus there. At least before ToAU and TP burns there.

You won't be able to join in but don't fret! You will get your chance to explore it ^_^

The pt the OP speaks of is actually pretty awesome. hexastrike and heal damage owns skellies. you wont get chains as high as monk groups but im sure itll be amusing.

i'm game, lets go

i should be on most of the day saturday

dai bust out that armor and unretire, you know your curious ^^

now i just gotta get someone to lone me there kraken to off hand >.>

i figure once you get TP the first time, neither hand would ever stop swinging. your main would be going through the 6 hit animation while your off hand was still trying to catch up with the hits. would probably need a little cure bombing though ^^

Some notes:

Gear for +ACC, eat Meat. Hedgehog Pie is best.

Bard should adjust minuet and madrigal as needed.

Try to set up a Black Halo -> Hexa Strike SC, with your strongest WHM closing. While it may seem more efficient to spam WS, it is actually better to create a skillchain. MBing is usually a waste of time and MP, so don't.

Take turns as the role of the designated healer. If you have a RDM, he should be a main healer, with one WHM occasionally throwing out curagas.

Set up a Banish order for Ghosts.

Devotion/Martyr roxor for this setup.. try getting some WHMs with those merits.

Have fun~
