Not much, it's really a fun run. Just remember you'll probbaly lose less experience if you don't die ;)

/hurray!!

Well, the event started off as planned--and only a little bit late this time! (But that's from picking up a few latecomers ;) Armed with a 14-man alliance, big sticks, and odd sub jobs (THF/RDM anyone?) we embarqed on our mission to inflict massive pain on the monsters that made our lives a living hell the first time around!

...after finally getting our entire alliance on the same side of the Valkurm Dunes tunnel, the journey began to find our first monster: a poor, unsuspecting lizard. In a fashion which can only be described like a mini-Dynamis, deaths came hard and fast. Every now and then, a monster died too.

We learned many things that day:

*Thief/RDM with astrals make for great healers
*Setting your homepoint is faster than waiting for a raise
*Star Bat AoE > Level 10 Alliance

When the rampage came to an end, the alliance once again gathered near the the Konschtat Highlands zone for the "Best Death Contest." We had six entries for the "best death"....

Lithos: Emo Samurai
(Samurai goes emo and cuts himself, having a gobbie cut him too)

Vandergard: Silly noob whm
(White mage cures the mob more than his own party)

Kaimoria: My life is a lie!
(Wannabe summoner-savant is defeated when she realizes that she's not "all that")

Crecent: Nin puller wipes alliance
(Nin goes for one monster, links them all by mistake, then proceeds to get his alliance killed)

Delecteur: Strip to the death
(With each hit, a piece of clothing falls)

Scravo: The bat fister
(Bestiality + Hundred Fists + a man who just can't get himself killed no matter how hard he tries)

The winning death was "Silly noob whm", Vandergard. He had his choice of a random amount of gil (up to 100k) or an item specific to the job he was levelling (worth at LEAST 100k). He chose the item, scoring his noob whm a shiny new Morion Earring.

The event ended with another makeshift "FU" spelled with bodies in the dunes. Last year it was done with dead bodies, so this year we used live ones. How else were we supposed to give off the fireworks show for everyone at the homepoint?

Thank you again to everyone who came, and everyone who made this event possible. Be sure to keep an eye out for future FableUnity-hosted events. They promise to be just as crazy, just as unnatural, and cause just as much death as this one.

FU!
