2. What is an HNM?
3. What is a "role-playing" linkshell?
4. Is there any purpose to Chocobo digging?
5. What is the economy like on Shiva?
6. How much is Silk Thread selling for?
7. How much are beehive chips selling for?
8. WTF is up with chocobo digging?
9. Are there any BCNM linkshells?

An exp party that skills up by killing the undead (bones) type monsters. This is normally a party of MNK and/or WHM
2. What is an HNM?
Hyper Notorious Monster. It's a name the JP gave to their "elite" ls back in the day. Then the NA came and stoledid it.
3. What is a "role-playing" linkshell?
Hark! Who goes yonder? Show me your pass to castle Rohan lest I smite thee!
4. Is there any purpose to Chocobo digging?
It's a great way to lose money that doesn't involved levelling Ninja. Every now and then you get cool items though.
5. What is the economy like on Shiva?
About the same as anywhere else. Buy gil and Ayaz will eat your children.
6. How much is Silk Thread selling for?
Varies...2-4k ea anymore, but stacks sell for more.
7. How much are beehive chips selling for?
Same, varies. There's no real way to tell.
8. WTF is up with chocobo digging?

There used to be, but they disbanded after their seals ran dry ;)

You're paying at least $13 to hit to stand next to a monster and hit the "X" button once. Does it really matter?

Not so much anymore since Ayaz started eating babies.

Depends on the area and time of day.

All my answers were true :(
Chocobo digging actually skills up as you do it. It eventually gets very profitable, from getting elemental ores and such.

I dont think I have ever seen a first hand account of someone saying they got an ore. only ever "I hear you can ele ore". Just something to keep in mind thinking diging is a get-rich-quick scheme.
i want to go into a little depth about the bones party thing seeing as how im a baby eating bard and theyre pretty much my bread and butter. a bones pt is made up of either 3mnks, brd, whm, rdm or 4mnks, brd, rdm/whm in king ranperres tomb. these parties are common because mnks do outrageous damage on bones (theyre weak to blunt weapon damage). the bard pulls the monsters with carnage elegy and the mnks destroy them. it is very common to get high xp chains in these parties (my highest is 41 but i have heard reports of 200+ chains).
