Do you have issues or what?
Has DVSIII posted on Alla a lot over the past month? Yes. Have we touted our successes as an LS? Yes. Have we congratulated each other in a public forum? Yes. Have we encouraged the Shiva community as a whole? Yes.
Keep in mind that about 2 years ago this LS started with a group of 3-5 friends when a few of them didn't have subjobs. Over 2 years we progressed to an HNM/Sky/Dynamis LS. The things we are doing are new to us. We don't have anyone in the LS with a plethora of experience in the HNM/Sky/Dynamis scene. We research things, plan, prepare, and get them done. Every time we accomplish something it is a new experience for us. And that is what makes this such a fun LS to be in.
There is no pressure to attend an event or camp a mob. There is no pressure to be in Sky. Our system rewards people for hard work. It does NOT punish them for failing to attend. And we reward those who sacrifice for us.
Two people stepped aside to allow an LS leader to get an Osode. Did they have to? No. Were the pressured or forced to? No. Did ANYONE inside the LS have an issue with the situation? No. EVERYONE looked at it as a way to reward someone who has stayed up late, helped when there was nothing in it for himself, and plans a large part of our events. If we didn't have an issue with it, then why do you?
Forgive us for being excited when we get something done. As I said, it is new to us when we accomplish a new goal. We are making roads into Sea. We already have a core there now and more will be getting there very soon. And I promise you that when we take down our 1st Jailer or get that 1st Limbus win, you will hear about. Not because we want to brag, but because we want to encourage each other. We want to let other LS that are growing like we did know that you can do it.
Ezstick, get over it man. I am SO sick of the BS on these boards I could puke. Are you jealous of someone having some success? Are you insecure about people in your own LS not admirig and respecting you the way people respect Jae, Miriel, Frigian, Ruroni, and the other leaders in our LS? You got issues and too much time on your hand. You are a sad, simple, pitiful little man. Go the hell away!!

I am guessing whoever this is they have something against myself as well. Seeing the drama I have had with Jae in the past (which is now behind me),this does not appear that good.
I respect DVS and all thier accomplishments. They are one of the true helpful linskhells that started from ground zero and have came very far. They helped thier members get Sky and taught them about endgame. They are not in this just for riches and bragging rights. I have seen alot of HNM shells come and go because they form with the intent inmind of a quick buck and are unwilling to help new players learn endgame.
Eventhough there have been past issues with some of your members and myself I wish you guys the best of luck and it is great to see DVS and Wasp both prospering in this game at a quick pace.

Thanks Kramer. It is good to be back and it was my good friends in DVS that are the reason behind it.

I don't understand why anyone would make a big fuss because a LS wants to share its wins. Like Alek said, its always nice to know when a group of people acheives something. It's cool to visit other LS websites and see what they're doing, not because you need to be better than them or compete with them, but because it shows you what's possible. It doesn't matter if they're the first or the best, just congratulate them on a job well done and stop being so negative, jeesh!

Dizzlestick's opinion is a fairly widely held one. You guys are pretty much the only ones that publically announce everything you accomplish. I understand that you're making the posts because you're proud and excited that you accomplished a new thing, but it comes off as though you're trying to brag, which makes you sound somewhat foolish. I'd agree that ezstick comes across as an ***, though.

I'm in DVS and it's a great ls full of great folks... Yes they are proud of what they do, and some might find the urge to post on here when they think that they've done something worth posting about. I personally don't post any new topics on here unless I'm setting up an event (which I haven't done in awhile and I need to get back on it). If I see a post about "Yay DVS" I'll usually congrat the folks and move on... nothing wrong with that... I'll do that for anyone that posts a "Yay So and So" post on here. I'm just nice like that! lol :)

last i checked, most every LS posted accomplishments on this board (there are a few who dont but thats their perrogitive (sp?) i suppose). i think we should be congratulating each other for every last little accomplishment to be honest. im still a firm believer that if we eliminated all the inter-LS hostility on and off these boards, we NAs would become a force to be reckoned with on shiva. i say grats to DVS and **** you to all the haters.

Cheers to you, I say! Who doesn't like to celebrate success, victories and achievements? Isn't that why we have a *Ding* thread?
I'm not sure who it is who said *Success breeds envy*, but it is oh so true; and so often by those who cannot or will not achieve victory on their own because of fear and failure.
I am impressed that even with the competitiveness of our linkshells, we take time to stop and congratulate each other. Why is that? Simple! We all value and recognize hard work, effort, commitment, perseverance and SUCCESS!
My favorite poet, philosopher and writer, Ralph Waldo Emerson says this about success:
