10,000 bill does not drop from Dynamis Lord. That's just a rumor.
They did get a Mantle, which is the first NA Shadow Mantle on Shiva, certainly something worth celebrating.

and its not DL asshles its me and i was hardly an asshle just stating the truth.
i told u we werent the first jackass. and neither are they, all im saying is its not a big deal to have beat it OR get the drop. its an achievement to accomplish something you have set out for thats a big congrats whether its damn af3 nm or getting a jelly ring but that doesnt make it a big deal.
being first isnt ALL that matters but thats what sticks and to say it DOESNT matter is naive and ridiculous. get your **** straight. ppl who competed in THAT spelling bee will remember all year who won, you can give yourself a cookie for learning how to spell it after the fact, that may make you a winner in your own book but you still lost on game day
please dont think im hating on a pld who wears all af1 and root sabots haha...the mantle is ok, but still no ones gonna "remember" or i dunno what you're trying to say honor him b/c he got the probably 5th 6th 7th or 8th? mantle on the server

Wooo for drama that wasn't needed. Weird that I don't remember fighting DL over a dozen times, but I guess these things happen when you were actually there as opposed to being someone flaming away on alla. Honestly, Shao was talking out his *** and I don't know why he came back specifically to flame Dark Legacy, but Klaw, take your own advice man. Shao was the only person that called you out, so flame him specifically. It's not like there is a real shortage of material.

My linkshell will be the 19th NA linkshell to beat Dynamis - Xarcabard. We feel that being 19th is obviously more glorious and auspicous than any other position in this race to beat him. I'm sorry to everyone out there who also wishes to be 19th but that spot is ours.

In answer to your question, I think we made 4 serious attempts, 6 attempts total (for instance, the video that was made was just when people wanted to see DL for the first time, so we screwed around with him for laughs with no items at all and no rdm/drks. The other not so serious attempt was a dry run without full items, similar to what alot of people do with CoP missions. If you want to count these, doesn't really matter to me).
Honestly, besides Shao's comments (and again, not a clue where that came from), I don't see what you have against this thread because you all made a very similar one on the VN boards after your victory. Of course, 95% of that thread was devoted to bashing Omfg, which was priceless.

if you wanna be technical i never started that thread...actually to be honest i have never started any thread before i dont think.
and if you wanna know the truth we dont care who is first or who is second at doing anything. all that thread was about was being before hocd, and only b/c they claimed to be the best...so it was kinda confusing to see how one is the best when they havent even completed all dynamis zones. we never cared to be first and we never cared to get a shadow mantle (cuz it sucks) which is why we never went back. i dont have anything against this thread, that topic is dead...neoreis comments revived it. end of story

the word first appears in this thread about 35 times...which is why there is some emphasis on being first matters, its not ALL that matters but it does matter. if you had a look on their forums when it happened you would have seen for yourself =)

Dynamis Lord was actually defeated by NA even before JP did, and do you know who did it?

He roundhouse kicked DL, then took his mantle and a 10,000 Byne bill.
I heard that whan SE beat Absolute Virtue, the GM's used Allakhazam as well. He tanked with his beard while his fists did the DDing.

If you want to be technical, I never said you personally started the other thread.
But at this point I give up. Personally, I've never said anything remotely negative about DL. I tried to talk this out from an objective standpoint, but there always seems to be something new you have a problem with (i.e. whether or not you personally started the thread, which no one said you did). At the point the whole best dyanmis ls thing happened, no NA ls on shiva had beaten Dynamis Lord and it was posted on our personal website. To be honest I never realized what the big fat hairy deal was.
But in the end, congrats on your past accomplishments and goodluck on your future ones. There's no real need to keep going back and forth about it. Clearly if I had brought Allakhazam into this sooner, it would have solved everything.
