It makes me sad to learn that some 8 and 9 year old gamers growing up miss out on these jokes...

Time to remind!

ah the good ol days, where translating stuff into english wasn't always the highest priority :)

I really need to see if I can dig up a copy of that game and play it again.

hah! I remember hearing this in SOCOM....people would trip out. It would happen in the Ruins every great once and a while, after you planted the bomb and you won...instead of saying "Demolition Succesful, Seals/Terrorists Win!" it would say "Demolition Succesful, All your base belongs to us!". Sad, but I was one of the few that knew what it was....stuff like that makes me feel old.

Lol, that makes you feel old....I remember playing Pac Man, Donkey Kong, Frogger, etc on the old Atari, one of the first gaming consoles to come out. My first computer was a Commodore 64, I got to see E.T. in the theaters when it first came out. Same with Return of the Jedi. G.I. Joe, Transformers, He-Man, Mask...I remember when they actually showed cartoons on Saturdays. LOL, you're still a pup

Flash back, here we go! I had an Atari, playing 1 on 1 basketball with a square ball, missle command till the sun came up and being ABSOLUTELY PISSED that my cousin had an Intellivision. My first computer was also a Commadore 64 and I had cartridge games for that, Track & Field being my favorite. I remember watching Star Wars on ON TV (yeah, who else remembers ON TV? Before HBO even...), seeing Empire in the theaters. And it was all about Voltron.....
