August 25th I'll be visiting a dermatologist. This may not seem like a big deal to some, but I have a question.
1. Lump on forearm. It looks a little smaller than a pinkie nail, but it feels much larger underneath the skin. This is not a big issue for me, as I have had it for several years. I just want it removed (and to see wtf it is) lol.
2. Large, painful "Mole" on mid-back. This is the one I'm stressing. It has been painful for a long while, I cannot describe the shape of it, I cannot see it (unless I turn into Linda Blair). It is very very VERY VERY sensitive to the touch, and when I catch it on accident, Im pretty much on the floor crying. ; ;
My question for the folks on our server in the medical field:
Have you seen anything like these? What would you suggest? Any ideas on wtf these are?

For the lump on your forearm, I guessing it's a cyst. I have one in my hand and the description you gave sounds very similar to mine.
*Note* My doctor recommended not removing the cyst unless it is disrupting my normal hand capabilities.
As for the mole, they have some good info here. Hope all goes well.

Yeah im especially worried about my back, I used to reside in California...and my favorite pastime was going to the beach every weekend...which almost ALWAYS resulted in a minor/major sunburn on my back. >_<
At one point, I had several blisters all over my back...talk about ouchie wowchie!!
My dad had to have treatment on his face for several precancerous....thingies...it looked like he was in hell, it burned his face something awful ; ;
I asked my doc about the arm lump a few months ago and he suggested I see a general surgeon or a dermatologist to determine what it is, and/or get it removed. I suppose a lump on the arm is easier to remove than one on the hand <_<

Weeeeell good news its not that bad :) the bump on your forearm, if there is no pain associated with it, is most likely a subcutaneous cyst.. nothing more. the doctor will ask you if it is causing you any pain and will give you the option of keeping it. The other option is to lance the cyst to drain it which is painless. As for the other on your back this could be something that you should not ignore. Without seeing this myself it could be anything, cellulitis (at worst) or merely an ulcer. Again i would have to see it to tell you for sure, but as it is inflamed you should have it checked as soon as possible and good luck.

It used to itch XD It made me believe for awhile, that it was a bug bite. But then it stuck around -.-;;
no doctor but I would get the one on your back definitly checked out especially since you can't see if it is growing in size or not. Odds are its something that a quick trip to the doctors office can allevate all your fears about it.
