My friend and I were discussing types of jobs that would work out in this game based off Final Fantasy Tactics.
1. Alchemist-someone that uses potions to blind, paralyze,
poison, etc.. with other abilities that aren't currently available at this time (how about a silence type attack against melees that stops attacks all togeteher)
Yeah, but who is going to want to buy all those medicines. That will be VERY expensive, and a normal mage can already blind and such.

2. Hunter- a archer type character that uses pets they raise and feed and the such that level along with character staying a level or 2 below the character. They would capture a animal and raise it or get rid of it later and capture a new one and start raising process again. this could be the second solo job class
We already have a BST and SMN.

3. Animist-calls upon animals to use status ailments and attacks and can character melees while doing so.
Already have a SMN.

4. Blue Mage-already mentioned but would be fun to absorb animal special attacks. My friend suggested that it would be cool to actually turn into a particular animal using spell and gain abilities of that animal and would drain mana while in animal form. what would be even better about blue mages is they could turn into beastmen and demons etc.
That would be pretty cool. I want to see more mages. Like Geomancer and Time Mage. Dancer would be cool, but it'd have to be a lot different from BRD while still being unique. Pirate would be cool too.
Or
Vampire, lol, but EVERYONE would want to be a Vampire. Lots of Drain abilities, low armor but high VIT. With your magic type attacks taking from your HP instead of MP. That'd be interesting. Also give Vampire the "Break" abilities like Armor Break, Magic Break and such. They could branch the Vampire story with the vampire guy under the Chateau in Sandy. What do you think?
