Can anyone give me a short summary of Shiva's economy!?
Example: Midgardsormr: Ochuidos's kote: 1.6mil
Emp Pin: 1.4 mil
Jujitsu Gi: 700k
Leaping Boots:1.somthing mil
Everything with "Astral" in it:1mil+
Brown Belt:1mil
a LOT LOT more overpriced things Â<.<
Think Shiva beats that?!

I think Shiva is around half of those prices. Only one I know for certain is emp pin = 700k

Simply going by what stuff sells for isn't really a good idea. Unless you're going to buy gil, you should also research supply, demands, and what stuff sells for that you'd like to be selling to earn your gil. Things may be cheaper, but it may take a lot more time and effort to earn the gil you need to buy what you want.
Get a worldpass, make a char on the server and check it out, you can always delete them and check another world as well.

Yes you are right, used to do only cooking, BCNMs and i got one earing out of an ENM (<.<) cooking was good IN Midgard, dont know if tis the same in Shiva!
And about the getting WP, deleting and jumping from servers to server, i wont do that, becasue im going in Shiva, so all i wanted to get is a sneak peak of what is Shiva ^^

Brown Belt = 1mil
Jujitsu Gi = 300k (this may have gone up I haven't checked in a while)
Astral Ring = 500k (I think this is where they are running)
Astral Earring = 1.4mil
Here are some other common items that people buy a lot more off and are usually rather independent of Gil seller pricing:
sole Sushi = 32k per stack
Meat Chiefkabobs = around 15k per stack
Meat Mithkabobs = 5k a stack

I left FFXI for 2 months and somethings got cheaper, others more expensive. Guess it depends on the market sometimes. Example, I recently did BCNM 40 2 days ago and got Utsutsumi Ni. I was surprised to see the price at 680-700K, last time I sold one it was worth only 380K. ><
im a bit worried about people comiung here because of prices. why start over if you already put the time in someone else. where is that money going to come from? you do reliese that by the time you get to the same place you are now the prices will have gone up again. i know that shiva has a lot lower prices then other servers but that is no reason to come here. i really wish i knew back then what i know now.
