Some of you may remember a post I started about a month ago asking what some of the requirements were to get into an HNM LS. Several people in my current LS were wondering the same thing and a few were dabbling into HNM LS activities with other groups during that time.

What we all decided after much discussion was to start up our own.

We know there is a long road ahead of us and that is OK. We have an excellent core of people to build on. We had a meeting about 1-2 weeks ago for people who would be interested in being a part of this new start-up - about 40-50 people attended!

We are going to start with Dynamis runs in about 1-2 weeks. Several of the people wanting to join are leveling their main job up to Dynamis level and others are doing research. What we are hoping to do in the meantime is bring in other memebers who would like to join a Dynamis-centered LS. That is where this post comes into play.

If you would like more information about this new LS please send a tell in-game to Miriel, Jae, Alivas, or Alekzander.

Please understand one major point - this is something that we are starting from the ground up! Don't expect to be fighting Kirin next week if you want to join us. While we are making Dynamis runs we will be making ZM runs to get everyone Sky access and leaving time for leveling. We hope that after a short time we will have enough members to start making god runs in Sky and maybe camping some HNM. But again, those things are a ways down the road.

On a personal note, I am going this way versus joining an existing HNM LS for one reason - I know Miriel, Jae, and Alivas very well. I staticed with them for over 30 levels. I know that these guys are generous, quality players. I trust these guys to run a fair and fun LS.

We would love for anyone over level 55 in any job to give us a tell. You don't need Sky or anything else to join; just a job over 55. So log into FFXI and send Miriel, Alivas, Jae, or Alekzander a tell about joining up!

See you in Vana Diel!

Thanks to everyone that has responded in-game to this post! It is great to have you on board and you guys have already made some great contributions by getting some Rank missions, Proms, etc. done the past few days!

Dynamis is just around the corner and we welcome anyone else interested in joining.

We are going to make some ZM4 runs on Saturday (4/9) at 6pm est so this would be a great chance for anyone considering joining us to check out the people in the LS already and get to know some of us.

See you around!

We had a very successful set of ZM4 runs last night. We had roughly 40 people who either needed ZM4 or were willing to help get it done.

Special thanks go out to Jae for organizing the event! Jae made sure we had enough people with lanterns and paintbrushes to get to the Chamber plus he grouped the parties so that everyone would be able to make a successful run through the battle.

To give you all yet another example of why I know this is going to be an awesome LS to get into, Jae, Miriel, Whitedevil and Alivas all spent a full 6 hours escorting people to the battlefield, participating in battles, etc. They did not leave until EVERYONE that needed ZM4 had completed the quest. I know there were probably others but I was late myself due to working late. I apologize to anyone I missed.

We had several new people join us last night and our numbers grwo steadily. I again want to thank everyone that has joined us in the past week. You have all been a huge asset to the LS and we are happy you decided to join us.

Next Saturday (4/16) we are planning to make as many ZM5 runs as possible. If you want to attend with us please make sure to have the CS in Norg completed along with the fragments from the soloable areas (La Theine, Altepa, and Fei Yin).

I hope you all have a great week both in-game and IRL. Dynamis is coming soon so make sure to level as much as possible during the week and join us on Saturday for ZM5.

My boyfriend (PLD60) and I (WHM64 -probably 65 by Saturday-) will come for sure. We both need it and I guess my next venture is 'sky' after 65ish. We've done all the soloable things and what not. Is there a certain time set for this? I'm in BC, Canada I think that's pacific? lol I dunno. We're up to it and will make Saturday free to get this over with! Please /tell me in game with more detail or post here!

Thanks much!

I'm down for ZM5 as well, depending on the time. Couple guys in my LS need it as well.

I have all but Wind and Light fragments, but will gladly help for the others.

Look for an update by tomorrow.

Hey guys, man I didn't read this post till now...never noticed it I guess!!! I would be more then happy to join the LS..it would be an honor! However, I still need to do the ZM missions, I know that 1-3 are all cutscenes so I'll do that...but ZM4 I'll rpobably need to get some poeple together to do that one as well. Let me know if LS is still available to join!

I will double check this evening to make sure there were no last minute changes but the time should be 6pm EST.

We will NOT be doing the solo ZM5 headstones in La Theine, Western Altepa Desert, and Fei'Yin. All others will be done.

*note* We are sponsoring these runs as a recruiting tool for our LS. Anyone is welcome to come along that needs these missions, but we would also hope that you would consider joining the LS.

Thanks in advance for your help tomorrow night and we hope to see a lot of you on a more frequent basis!

Just so you know. Research in dynamis is stupid. You can reseaerch nothing that will prepare you for Dynamis. The only thing you need to know is which mobs are the placeholders for Nm's. Also you better have a good puller who has pulled in dynamis before and a lot of blm who have been in dynamis before. Dynamis is NOT easy and should be handled very seriously. Also if you are planning on winning you will need about 30+ people all 70+ I wouldnt even bother taking any less then 40 people if none have attended before. With people under 70 and have never attended... your looking at around 50+ people to even have a chance.
Go to sandy first. Sandy is pretty simple and straight forword. When you get charmed... Sleep each other and / or kite the group around. Never.. and i mean NEVER kill eachother becase it just makes you waste time. Simple stuff but still confusing. I have attended each of the major cities at least 3 times each. If you need any questions answered /tell mufferino.

LMAO... Karma bombed for posting information about a new LS and doing some ZM runs... LOL

Anyway, the group had a successful run on ZM5 Saturday night. I was unable to attend due to some family and technical issues but all ZM5 fragments were ontained.

I have not been able to log into FFXI since Friday until late last night (Tues 4/19) so I am unsure of what events are upcoming. I will post as soon as I have word on what is happening.

Thanks again to everyone who has helped with ZM4 & ZM5 and joined the LS. We appreciate all your hard work and look forward to a lot more enjoyable times.

See you all in Vana Diel!

Barchiel, send Miriel, Jae, Alivas or Alekzander a tell to get a pearl.

We are going to try to organize some ZM6 runs tomorrow night (Sat. 4/23) at 9pm EST. Look up one of the guys mentioned above to go along.

We have also decided to put off our 1st Dynamis run for a couple of weeks so that people can try to take advantage of the new exp change and gain an extra level or 2.

If you have any questions let us know and take care.

omg...

5 runs on ZM6 and 4 runs on ZM8 later...

We had a blast tonight... took about 20-25 people through these 2 ZM's. Our PT's now hold the record for both battles... ZM6 at 7:08 and ZM8 at 4:10!

When I have had more sleep I will post some upcoming items for our LS.

I have no idea why people are bombing the hell out of my Karma for this thread...

In all honesty an arbitrary number on a computer doesnt really have any affect on my worth as a person so if someone thinks they are hurting me in any way then please think again.

What I am curious about is if someone has an issue with me and taking it out on these posts...

I try to be fair to everyone I come in contact to in-game. I will usually raise someone if needed, help with a quest, etc. I stayed up until 4am Saturday night in order to make sure that everyone on our ZM8 run got the battle done.

If you have an issue with me let me know. I think/hope we can talk about what you may be pissed about and resolve it. (I am saying that in the interest of keeping good relationships in-game with people.)
