The best Final Fantasy song...ever.
It's the Ultimecia (final battle) music from FFVIII. Just thinking about the song makes me want to rearrange it into metal and record it on my computer. That would be a lot of guitar tracks though....and I'd have to add artificial drums.

Hmmm, I think FF3's Opera Scene is a tad overrated, but not bad. Ultimecia's Final Battle theme is nice.
I like the FF7 'after battle, this is your xp and items won' music.
Kingdom Hearts had a nice one, I think it was called Memories
I still like the classic FF theme, it was on 7 while the beginning credits play and at the very end of game. SO nice^^
FF XI Jeuno Theme IS TEH ROXXOR!!! jk,
but I do like Zi Tah's music.

Hmm, I think that's hard to compare since Faye is a singer and Uematsu is a composer.
On the vocal side, I prefer Eyes on Me (Faye Wong) or Simple and Clean (Utada Hikaru)
Non-vocal, I like one-winged angel from FF-7

Nobuo Uematsu is a musical genius.
Also, pretty much the entire soundtrack from Secret of Mana is very good. Too bad it was on snes which had crappy sound.

My personal favorite at this moment is Darkworld from FFIII
I stress, at this moment. That's the music you get right after the worl is blown up btw.
Also Cry in sorrow is awesome(from FFII), the turks theme from FFVII pwns. Just too many for me to think of, I have like every FF song on midi, so y'know..

Liberi Fatali (FFVIII) and One Winged Angel (FFVII) are right up there for me. oh and the music in Sanctuary of Zi'tah is pretty damn good....
