I have a trio of rng that may be interested in coming.

Mrfrodo - the only one who acftually needs it - RNG/war
Skibum - rng/nin - just going to help frodo
Jaydin - Rng/nin - just going to help frodo

i only have 1 recollection at the moment however. I would have to check with them but i think they each had 2 the last time i talked to them. Only other problem would be me possible not being available until 6:30 central. I'll repost later today if they are both available.

I'm a Paladin/Warrior that really needs to do all the promyvions. If you'd have me, I'd be happy to come along. Although I don't have ALL of that medicine, I -DO- have:

2 Yagudo Drinks
1 High Potion
1 Psychoanima
1 Hysteroanima
1 +enmity Pumpkin head (in a party full of rangers...)

Since this is going down at 6PM, I can be farming for some quick cash to buy more medicine, and a Tavnazian Taco for the boss battle.

What say you?

Frodo needs Holla and Mea i believe. We would be willing to attempt to do at least 2 of them. so we have 4 rng and a pld thus far? We would just need to find us a smn. Skibum has whm available perhaps. he would just have to mule some equip. Least i hope he didnt sell it all off hehe. The fact we all have anima will make this very easy i hope. Now if we can just avoid all the aggro on the way down there.

Kenshyn - rng.nin - 3 anima
Jaydin - rng.nin - 1 anima - sorry i dont have more
mrfrodo - rng.war - 2 anima
skibum - rng.nin or whm/blm - 2 anima last i heard
wevrain - pld.war - 2 anima

Is holla the last one u need kenshyn?

Does the smn have their anima? and secondly i may not be able to be on til 6:30 central. I apologize but i have to drive home from work and talk to the lady friend a lil bit before i am cleared to spend the night at the comp. Funny how girlfriends seem to see this game as an evil addiction. Skibum saidc he has no prob going as a whm. he just has to mule the gear. They get done with work a lot earlier than i do though so it shouldnt be a big delay. I will do my best to be on by 6 but it depends on what kind of day it is at work on how early we get to run away run away. Maybe we can even get 2 or 3 of them done this evening if we are lucky.

I'm the SMN in question (Durnik). Yes, I have all 3 animas, plus 3 recollections in reserve.

I have a static starting at around 8, so I have to be back in time for that. I have seen runs through Holla taking 30 min, others an hour or two. If we can truly be IN Holla by 6:30 or soon thereafter it should be doable for me.

Otherwise, you know a shout or two in LJ will have a SMN running with this setup.

Cool. we should all be set. Meet in jeuno. i will run the risk of pissing off my GF and be there at 6. i have to turn in my recollection for anima, mule some poison potions and then i am rdy to roll. Hopefully we could get holla done and maybe try mea - it seems to be the easiest to run thru without aggro, all in one night. maybe we even get lucky and do all 3. I know wishful thinking but hey, I can dream. See you all in 90 mins i hope. almost finsihed here at the office hehe

I would like to end this thread with a {Thank You}! to Durnik, Mrfrodo, Jaydin, Magos, Kenshyn and Wevrain. Promyvion - Holla could not have been any easier I believe.

To any that would like suggestions on how to do it the most important things to do are to listen and follow one person. This made Holla seem like a walk through West Ronfaure it was so easy. At the fences on the 2nd level if you have one person pull what will aggro and pounce on it as a party you will be through the worst part in no time.

After nearly setting a record for Holla we went back in to farm for more recollections, this took about 30 minutes in which time Durnik had to leave. We invited Magos to meet us at Mea after having our anima crafted. Our party gathered inside Mea and another party asked to form an alliance to work our way up. This was the worst mistake we made during the entire night. The other party was more intent on making it up to the spire than they were at avoiding aggro. At one point I asked if we could "practice evasion" and the response was "My evasion is at max for this level". That should give you an idea of how this was going to work out.

We made it to the 4th floor with minor problems and were nearing the spire when we caught aggro in an undesirable location. (No idea who got aggro as I don't believe it could have been avoided.) This wasn't such a big deal as we have 12 people here to help us. Oh but what's that, the rank 10 summoner and the ranger each pulled a mob each... Rank does not equal skill.

That fight left my party with 4 dead and the other with 2. My paladin used his 2 hour and ended up eating dirt. When the pld dropped I made a run for the zone and made it unscathed. The other party's black mage started to tractor our dead to the zone for raise and another party ended up zoning 2-3 more. At this time several of us are slightly unhappy with the alliance. The 3rd party was nice enough to help out with tractor / raise so we can go about finishing. We called for help on the aggro we caught while doing this and it was taken down rather easily.

The boss for each spire seems to be a piece of cake if you have anima. I believe we used less than 5 anima for each boss and had many to spare. I would think that any exp party setup would work when fighting the boss if you have enough anima as they cripple the boss.

Thanks a lot for having me you guys, it was a pleasure tanking for you ^^

I agree, the alliance, while the people were nice enough, probably wasn't the best of ideas. Too much confusion about who to follow, and with one party running off and the other resting... It's best for stealth to stay in one tight-knit group. But hey, we got up there more or less intact, and we rocked the BCNM!

If any of you guys need Promyvion Dem (I noticed Kenshyn said he needed it), I'd be happy to come along, not just because I also need it, but because you guys're great to hang around ^^

Last night in Dem I would have prayed for the alliance again trust me my single party at dem was rough very rough:

Summary from my 3 fights this week:

I have to say after the patch I went to do Prom this week. 3-0 walking around the meadows and coast very cool.

I hated losing so I was hoping they make some changes they didn't so I did. Normal party at holla 0-4 4 deaths /cry. What I call Prom Club 3-0.

Prom Club is simple (1-3 Rangers and 1-3 SMN) = 4 and 1 WHM (Raise do you need it) then tank any class that can tank:

3 Rangers 1 SMN 1 WHM 1 PLD = ALmost new record at Holla and Mea 4 minute fights unscathed.

2 Ranges 2 SMN 1 WHM 1 PLD = Easiest fight ever at Dem it was pure cake.

Keys smn and Ranger 2 hour very few animas needed:

Strategy:
Full Buffs smn uses Party blink Rests to full or 1 minute for BP summons Ramuh uses thunderspark and then releases back up cures. Pld and party engages at 70% use animas at 60% summoner summon Ramuh drinks juice and 2hrs. Rangers 2hr and Barrages for the win. Gameover total time 4 minutes not bad I never got touched went 3-0 with that strategy 0 deaths.

Note do not use terror when it is time for the summoner 2hr that can make it miss ><................... Yes one summoners 2hr missed entirely.

It is not the only way but damn was that ever so easy with that setup.
