Have you found love on FFXI?Follow

It happens quite often to be honest, is it real love? I doubt it. I mean, there's times where you think that girl/guy is perfect, when in reality their RL personality may make you cringe XD.

I dont know if it is love.. but it is a conection that is deeper than the game.. it is a thin line between the game and RL, so u must make sure of which one it is.. When u met that special person all u can do is hope that they are who they say they are. when u feel like you can tell them anything in the world and u cant stop thinking about them on and off the game, who knows what can happen. im not saying take off and run to them in rl, but dont doubt the possibilty. the world works in wonderous ways and sometimes u have to take that leap of faith to discover something heavenly. Make sure that you take the time to get to know the person by making outside contact of the game.. its sometimes harder to hide things when there isnt a need for role playing. its kinda like being in high school again, some people act like jerks in school because of all the people around them, but they have a different side when it is 1 on 1 with people.. people can play a role no matter how near or far they are.. u dont have to be 1000 miles away to pretend. all you can do is be honest with them and ask them to be honest with u in return.. ride the wave and see what happens, embrace the limitless possibilities. ^^ u know who u r baby (K)

Though, I know of one success story. I have a lot of friends. Not only real life friends, but friends from the Internet. Especially in the Counter Strike server community that I hang around at. My buddy Don got married last year. The girl he married....he met from the Internet. She was Canadian but moved down here and got her citizenship and they are happily together.

And to point something out, you're more than likely going to get all negative answers. "Have you found love on FFXI?" Yes. But that love is lost due to things I won't get into. It was once there and it was great but I got over it. Time heals wounds and I am fresh. It was a experience, I will say that much. I lived in Illinois for four months (hated it) and learned a lesson. That lesson is not to date over the Internet ever again. I couldn't be much more happier right now. Since I have been back, I've been having this feeling that my High School love of my life and I might get together in the future six years after we broke up as Freshmen. May not, but who knows.

I wasn't neccessarily trying to be negative, I was just simply answering your question. You don't understand the sacrifices I made to be with this person, how hard I worked, how unappreciated I was and how torn I was. We broke up after me being there for a month but we still lived together and it was hell. Everyone that I know in the CS community hates her because of her mentality on things. Christ, she has posted so many fake pictures it's not even funny! She even has one posted right now that I countered it with a real picture of her. If you know who FatalFlaw is, then you would know her most likely. Bobby (FatalFlaw) and I have been friends for years. I actually got him into FFXI. His ex girlfriend is my ex, and he'll vouche the fact that she's crazy. They were a Internet based relationship as well.

Edit: And on top of that, the majority off all relationships she has ever had are Internet based. You would think that she would have learned her lesson from 299873242 relationships gone wrong, right? Wrong! She's actually working on her next victim as we speak. She's a succubus!

Yup... to make another long story short, I met mah mate through the ls I was in... we had met in IRL before we had feelings for each other, but then we got together online... and yeah, I think it went beyond FFXI. ^^

My girlfriend and I play FFXI. Although we met before I started, I suppose FFXI gave us plenty of time to get to know each other better. So yeah, sort of.
