hey man I dont' think i'm high enough lvl to be much help but I'd like to lend a hand if possible just so I could say i was a part of it. Is there any storyline quests involved in obtaining them?

Hello teup, I can help you get those offerings at the temple, since I myself have to get a testimony. So set a time and date I shall come along. Kill 2 birds with one stone. :D
im not leveling my summoner till i get fenny AND these gloves. i just gotta have these damn mittens.
Hey Xell, got my mitts the other day after shouting for about 5 hours lol. Cost me 500k, but it was worth it considering I would have had to pay the same price for Austere Cuffs (when theres some on AH). Anyway, good luck on obtaining your mitts and fenrir as well.

Teaupriran, the pt that did this for me was consisted all of lvl 75's. The jobs were: DRK, WHM, PLD, and BLM.
As for the prelate key, one of them had one and used it for me. I strongly believe however that you can use magic aggro to get the door open (it sure worked on the manipulator >.>)
Be warned however, that as soon as the NM pops it WILL use Searing Light. I took 597 dmg when I used my offering. Fortunately, I had read up on this and expected it so I told the pt to stay back while I died. One of them said it wouldn't happen, but I proved them wrong ^^.

I almost forgot something very important. If the ppl you are with find themselves in a situation where they have to kill tonberrys (a given since you have to clear out the room where the NM spawns anyway), always CALL FOR HELP. This will stop the accumulation of tonberry hate which will come back to bite someone in the *** if Everyones Grudge is performed. I dont know how many toneberry's the DRK killed before, but when the NM did that move his 1300 hp disappeared in a heartbeat.
Needless to say he joined me on the floor.

I got my mittens today. Went with 7 level 73-75's. The aggro trick to open the door with magic works. We did not look for a prelate key. Once the room was cleared we pop the NM. The fight was quick and looked really easy. One member did redline with hp, but overall was pretty easy and exciting to watch.
Congrats on your new toys Teupriran, now you can enjoy a free carby (and if you have a vermillion cloak a +1 return on mp).

I see i've arrived at this thread a little late to help you out with the offering, but i'd be happy to help you with the NM fight- i too have an offering that's been collecting dust in my MH since September. Just send a /tell ingame sometime and you'll have a 61 (or higher by then) whm at your side, with the possibility of some other higher level help from either of my linkshells as well. :) Bonus points if we can plan it out a few days ahead of time, could probably get a 75 pld, 75 rdm, buncha 65+ DD and other such fun... i think we'd not do too bad if some people i know pulled together for this.
