As you all know by now on my migration to Remora server SE somehow lost my char and cant/wont recover it.
Im here to tell you all that in a few weeks I will be starting all over again from scratch and am looking foward to chillin with you all.
And all the help in the world is appreciated lol.

Do you all think i should come back as Chokyboky or come up with a new name?
Also I still plan on playing mainly rng and thf. Should i come back yet again as an elvaan or something else?
I want everyone who has every partied with me to be honest here. Am/was i a good rng/thf/player/helper on the server.
I know i had my bad times where i was just in a bad mood so i did things like leave a pty for no reason or yell at people but we all have those days.

Dont worry about making people like you ... play the game and have fun. If you are a fair, and mostly decent person (and dont rip anyone off ^^) people will like you automatically.
Also, I wouldent worry about the "getting frustrated/having a bad day and being crabby with PT members ".
I'm positive we have all done this at some point or another ^^

Personally i believe i were to come back i would be a taru cause i am a summoner but besides being a mage i would have chosen mithra if i knew how awesome their stats are. I don't know if you want to be running around with a tail and have guys hitting on you but i would probably change to a mithra because they are just good all around pretty much and are uber rangers :p
That uber sux that square enix won't recover your character. You would think that if it got messed up in the server change then they would be obligated to get it back to you or be under some sort of violation.
And yes keep your name Chokyboky it makes you unique! ^^

I've never pted with you but I am sure you will be fine. Just don't let things get you down. You have control over how you react to other people. Don't let other people dictate your FFXI experience. ^^ That said look up Alayne or Ceraphini online and I will help if I am online and not already engaged.
As far as race, as Sano said, I would choose mithra. Sure any race can technically do any job but sense you know what job you want to do why handicap yourself with the race with the worest dex? /em shrugs I am not big on being picky on race/job combinations while in pt but from this angle I would want to choose to be the best I could be. Though if you want to go elvaan for a roleplaying reason then that is kewl too.
As far as name? it's up to you. Though by changing to a different name you can immediately separate yourself from anyone you would rather not associate with from past experiences. I personally prefer more in character names than Chokyboky but that's IMHO /em shrugs. At least its not "Deadbabbies" or something like that ^^ lol.

Poor Choky you always did have the worst of luck...except those damn emp hair pins you got! Anyways, Kaihlyn is back now...playing as his sam. I just gave him 350k for new gear and such..so now i am broke ><;

ROFL, My friend called me the other night and told me that my god damn char was recovered lol. He doesnt know how to play ffxi so i dont know what gear i have or gil or whatnot but id assume they gave me my full af and thats it. Im gonna be so pissed if i get on and have NOTHING of what i had. Lose almost 2 mil worth of items i had cuz they are ***** and wont "recover" that too.
I dont even know what server im on. Since everyone i emigrated with quit i kinda hope i didnt get switch to the new server.
If i get on and im on Remora with nothing but AF for rng im going to delete him and start over on Shiva again as.... Yup you guessed it, Chokyboky the Elvaan or Galka rng lol. Well i have good news and bad news.
Good news is that SE recovered my char.
Bad news is i think i was hacked and the people deleted my chars. Every item i had on me that was worth gil is now gone. I have full Af and thats it. I cant even farm to start making it back cuz i have no weapons lol.
