What are IGE employees?
hope this isn't noobish but i asked like 4 of my linkshells and they had no clue.

IGE is a gil selling website company. Some people say that there are IGE employees that play FFXI to get gil to sell on their site.

This is not true. IGE pays cash for gil. It's an acronym for "Internet Gaming Entertainment." They have many games that they have trade cash for in-game currency and vice versa. While some people may consider themselves empployees, they aren't. They just get paid by the company for the gil they sell to them.
They have characters on each server but only for the purpose of delivering the gil to you.

That is correct, BUT they also have employees who's only job is to make money in games. They make better profit from having their own make the money that they can get for free as oppose to that gil, credits, gold whatever the currency is for different games, they purchase just to sell for a higher rate. Pratical Business.
i wasn't saying that there are IGE employees Malboja, i just simply stating that some people say there are, since i haven't seen any proof that they actually are in the game i dont really know.

Anyone that's there for the sole purpose of making gil to sell to a third party for RL money.
HNMLS and other high levels do not fall into this category, cuz they structure elaborate Alliances, plan ahead, coordinate, and orchestrate hunts, besides, they hunt HNMs and use the drop items to craft or sell to get better in-game stuff anyways - they don't sell their gil.
Gil Farmer Example:
Saitayang, Waitmagic, Generate, Letter, Dragonwolfer,
Tanffxi b,c,e,d,f, Windboy, Gtroc and the Full AF PT (Kuftal and Bohyada Tree)... They usually have thier haunts and hang out there 24/7/365 >< I'm sure there's more, but I only know these guys currently.

on the ffvault boards someone posted a huge list of groups of gil farmers from just about every server.
