Generate, Letter & Darkwolfer (Longish)Follow

My friend's a MNK, and he needs Ochiudo's Kote and Fuuma Kayan badly. He's in his lvl 40s, and soon having the Kote or not's really gonna start to matter, just like as a WHM, having Erase is very important when you hit 50s.

So my LS decided to all go help him out and camp the two Yagudo NMs in Castle Oztorja (I know I can't spell). We've done it twice and we've also been to the area one other time to do Rank 5. All three times, Generate was there. I've also soloed into the Castle to do my AF boots, and he was there.

Generate is a probably lvl 48-50ish (gil farmers don't do LB1) DRG. Letter is at also 48-50ish RDM. Darkwolfer is a DRG, again, 48-50ish. I believe Letter has WAR subbed, since he's a Voke-Bot for the DRGs.

From the acts of it, he is a gil farmer for sure. I mean if you go check in Jeuno AH, the Kote is like his exclusive item! Yea, there's Darkwolfer too...but I think they are the same gil company.

Back to the story:
4 members from my LS, including myself head out there to camp last Sunday. First Generate/Darkwolfer stands in front of me with his wyvern out. This is done so that I can't use my /targetnpc Flash macro. Generate and Letter then proceeds to pull bats on us. While none of them would aggro us (we're all in the 50s) it still messes with our /targetnpc macro.

Annoyed, we stil manage to voke off a few regular Yags and one NM Yag, but no drop.

Jump to this past Sunday.
We get our LS DRG to come to mess with Voke-Bot Letter's macros. Let them taste their own poison, I think. It did tick them off to a point that Letter finally does an auto-translater "<Leave>6" (we couldn't figure out what the '6' was suppose to mean) We shoot off some F-words back, fully knowing that he won't understand.

Same story but worse this time - bats upon bats are pulled on us. They also slept the Yags to mess with the spawn times. They also pull the Cutters that were around, etc. Every dirty trick in the book to mess with us. Eventually, Darkwolfer showed up too, so it was a Voke-Bot, 2DRGs with Wyverns, bunch of bats and bunch of cutters all on the tiny stage...

I mean...this guy is here 24/7 and they won't even let us have ONE chance at it... I was so furious!! We tried talking to them, but what can you do with some foreigner that doesn't understand English and don't give two shi$s about real players?

I don't know how to get rid of them. Having experienced the absolute dirty crap that they do, we don't want to pay our hard earned gil so we can buy the Kote from the Gil Farmers. So my LS will continue to attempt to get the Kote from the NM.

But I really am annoyed at the dirty tricks they use, and their every attempt to prevent us legitimate players from getting an item that we truly need - NOT to make money RL or in-game.

So I ask all you honest players...My LS camps there on Sunday nights, 9pm~ If any other LSs can go camp it other nights just to annoy the crap out of Generate and his minions, making it harder for him to Gil Farm there, it would be truly appreciated. Hey, you might get the 500K Kote drop you know......

I was in the Party Uchipu referred to above and was pretty upset about the whole matter. I decided to talk to a GM about the issue, just to understand why something can't be done.

It boils down to 1) they are not breaking any rules against the Service Agreement and 2) Due to international copyright legal battles, it is currently ok to be a gil farmer outside the US.

I'm still sort fo new to the game, so forgive me if this idea seems a littel out that... but why not try getting EVERYONE you knwo to camp there. I'd imagine if this person/persons/bots were outnumbered 10-1, he'd have a much hader time being the first to jump on the NM to get it. better yet, with that many people, you coudl have some of them set up to take care fo the pulled bats and whatnot.

Just a suggestion... It woudl be a difficult task to pull off, getting that many peopel into one area.. but the other thign is... with that many people there, you might be able to get some lag going, and that would probably discourage him/them too..

I'd fofer to help, but there's not much a lv 15 RDM can do in this situation, except offer suggestions.
