Heya all... Shameless steal from other servers forum. i dont think i saw one here. Maybe it's a nice idea to post all known gilsellers here, so they will be known more by the normal players in Ragnarok. With them known, everyone can stop helping/tele/raising them, and thus helping a bit in the struggle against RMT.

I mean no offense when I say this, because I'm against rmt stuff and all, but this thread can only lead to fights.
Someone is going to post calling someone else a GS, a big pissing match is going to ensue, trolls come a hoppin, and that's it. I've had very bad run-ins with people I know are GS camping NM's as bst, but I'm just not going to post them on here. I called a GM once, and about 20 of them were banned as a result.
SE seems to be doing a good job banning accounts, lets let them deal with it.

We use to have a thread like this way back when. I found it very helpful. It helped me see the people to stay clear of when i was a lowly lvl 10+. The last thread died because people got personal. It could work, it just needs good moderation. Its kinda hard for me to post more names because SE did a pretty good job this last week in rooting out the ol'timer gilsellers. Gonna have to keep our eyes open for the new characters. Squallido has a pretty good list going.

Heh, since there were a lot of bans last week. I'd guess venture in low-mid level zones and see who is lvling there with the most crappy gear and really weird/similar names and list them. j/k ;)

Metalmirror has a good point there, I am not looking to start drama and accusing here. So I will post the names, and if someone feels that someone is on the list without reason, I will remove them. Better to have a list 95% accurate than no list at all imo. i will start editting and updating next week, since I will be abroad for bussiness till sunday :)
And already you have one controversial name. Yeah, I know a lot of people think Wulong has agreed to help an RMT shell to sea. I've heard the rumors. Now, I want the proof before any one person is put on this list because of rumors. As far as I know, Wulong is a friend of a friend, and is in Kizunas. Maybe different person, I don't know.

It's pretty ridiculous to just bring up names throwing around accusations, the only thing thats gonna do is stir **** up. If you don't have any factual evidence or confirmation, then keep their names out your mouth. A Known RMT list, okay, but don't turn it into a I think so-and-so might be involved with RMT witch hunt list.

This thread will do more harm than good.
Legit players will be wrongly accused of being RMT or helping RMT, and considering it's damn hard to prove you *didn't* do something, their reputation will never fully recover.
Also: most of this list is outdated already since accounts get banned while new RMT characters are created every day, so it won't help one bit in the struggle against RMT.
What really would help in the struggle against RMT is if people would:
1) stop buying gil from them
2) stop buying sky triggers, abjurations and god gear from them
3) stop buying NM drops like amity>peace>errant capes, strider boots and serket rings from them
and you really don't need a list to know that person shouting to sell various sky abjurations and Byakko's Haidate is RMT. >.>
