It was disturbing (and at the same time funny) to see 32 characters in the boat to nashmau, the Mire changed from xp heaven to omg-overcamped when the boat arrived...

How can you lose the runic portal NPC?
Dear god, Besieged is going to become really annoying with all this crap. I've read that the NMs that you can kill so they don't show up in Al Zahbi don't even give a friggin title.

Losing the Astral Candescence is what makes us unable to use Runic Portals, since it apparently "powers" the Portals.
Without the Candescence, things go funky as well; Warp-Taru warps you like all the way at the edge of the zones instead of near Jeuno if he warps you to one of them, etc.
