I've been playing since the american release and I've decided
to say thank you.
For absolutely everything.
I want to thank you,
For all those times that I died in the SarutaBaruta because of a gob aggro.
For all those times some random passerby tossed in a Cure so that I didn't die.
For the pt standing two inches away from me while I tried to fight in Tahrongi Canyon at lvl 8 and was killed mercilessly and they didn't help me.
For the parties that formed in windurst and walked all the way to the Maze of Shakhrami, only to be killed by a few stray Yagudo in the Canyon two feet from the entrance.
For the aggros by EP Yagudos and Gobs in Saruta that had "no idea what was coming to them".
For my first pt at lvl 6 trying to do the first Windurst missions (I remember all of your names still, though you all quit after the first free month of play.
For living day by day off of the silks that dropped that only sold for 700g/per back then.
For me being outraged at paying 18K for a black cloak upon my first walk to Jeuno (that was ALL of my money, no gil for Chocobo quest)
For an ls member than loaned me the money so I could finally ride a Chocobo.
For that high level WHM that helped me get to Jeuno halfway through, raised me twice because I kept getting aggro.
For FSST for helping me get my subjob items.
For Fido for /shouting in Windurst Woods about a "Brand new Linkshell!" and giving me one even though I was too low for it (TheConch <3)
For forcing me to wake up at 3 AM on the morning of a final so I could get my damn RSE (and to Fsst and Fido for helping with that again)
For those JP players that, for God's knows why, helped me get keys to the chests in Maze of Shakhrami and then lead me to the chests as well.
For the JP players that were always nice to me as an american newbie.
For the bad parties.
For the good parties.
For me not getting the items I need from NMs I camp.
For me getting the items I don't need from the NMs I happen upon.
For the summoners in Qufim that made me jealous when I was lvl 22 BLM.
For everyone in AF that passes me in Jeuno and gives me the strive to reach lvl 75.
For me not understanding everything (mostly abbreviations).

For my stupid NPC (and for me changing my opinion on him daily)
For me growing attached to people I've never even seen before.
For making me realize that all people are the same.
For the JP party in Korroloka Tunnel that launched me from 14 to 20 in 2 - 3 hours (making it the most successful pt i've ever had, and allowing me to do my mini-avatar battles).
For letting me be able to watch the inflation grow and grow and grow.
For making me have to dish up 5K for a Chocobo from Mea.
For letting me get tons of fame by repeating the same annoying quest over and over.
For making me stay inside all day on a saturday (during the hottest weather yet)
For forcing me to miss friend's parties because I had to do Prom-Holla with a CoP set.
For letting me realize everything will pass eventually, just wait it out.
For blessing me with the greatest bunch of people I will ever know, and for them helping me through the most difficult times of my life.
For those who sympathize.
For those who don't.
For those people that I'll meet and love.
For those people that I'll meet and hate.
For ripping me off in bazaars.
For giving me HUGE sales in other bazaars.
For making me learn how to type extremely fast.
For making me be able to multi-task beyond all others.
For destroying my old computer.
For not playing on my new computer.
For being able to be played on a ps2.
For the people who invite by /telling me "Hey!" instead of "Party?"
For me buying stacks of PUP attachments when only 1 is needed (gil? none for me thanks.).
For the people that will read al of this because they know me.
For the people that read a few lines and then add a random comment at the bottom and hope it sounds like they read it all.
For the party that finally got me out of "the Devil's Plateau" (the 30's) [Bren., Bud., Pock., Stry., and Fox.).
For the "most horrible party in the world" that set the two BLMS as healers and kept training two or three crawlers to camp.
For sending me these horrible parties so I can have something to complain about.

For the parties that don't talk and only use their macros to show that they are still alive.
For the parties that I don't understand because they speak spanish or japanese, but invite me anyway.

i don't know you, but i love the sentiment (and i laughed at a few of them). here's to your BLM gaining power, and being able to use the elemental staves (buying them is a separate issue). :)
