Ok official word is in, she has infact quit the game, so i figured id let all her friends know.
hmm why did she quit ? i thought i saw her in toau not long ago. after all she's a part of our ls before. nice person. i hope she comes back tho

She quit due to stress and no LS she told me, she was apparently without an HNM LS for quite some time and none of the major shells would give her a chance, so she felt her time on Rag was up.
i though i have seen here yesterday in windurst woods

Ok in response to monkeys post, Sio is a real woman i know her and her husband personally, her husband created the char shortly after the NA release after being invited to Rag by a friend that he met on a gaming forum, he played for about 2 weeks, then got a job in a hospital and had to stop, so he took time and taught sio how to play, she then took over, and far as liadel goes, sio and lia met and became good friends ingame, after a while sio found out lia wasnt a woman at all but protected him and took him as a lil brother, so please dont speak unless you know what your talking about, many married couples play this game, and if you think they dont then guess again.

so what if big HNMls wouldn't take her, this game is about having fun and that doesn't mean u have to join an HNMls to have fun =/ i personality haven't joined one for almost 1yr and i enjoy it alot so pretty much anti hnm now ^^;;

As far as the Lia thing, I quickly got over it when I found out what was going on. Sio has always been super sweet to me and I adore her as a friend and I hope she knows that no matter what, even if she quits the game, she will have this friendship.
I thought she was with a hnm. She left the one she was in with me to join a different one for reasons I can understand, but I also think that if she were to reapply, she'd most likely get in. I can't speak for everyone, but as far as I was aware, she did leave on good terms to pursue other goals. While I'm sure some may be upset about the incident mentioned above, I don't think anyone who really knew her or called her friend held any grudges after they got over the initial shock.

[Update] After an hour long talk and telling her what Mila said, Sio has decided that she will stay, she talked about her friends and what a coincidence Tif your name was the first thrown out there, she will be on in 20 mins.
aww, i <3 sio, id take her (him?) back, but she does jump around from LS's alot which kind of worries me ;/

There was a confession. Some of us forgave, forgot and moved on and still talk to him.
If he/she got regected by linkshells.. then he/she must be in some deep **** or something..

I don't much care who is a girl or guy on FFXI, all I ever cared was if they had a good heart.
People with good heart don't level their Bst job in the same camp as yours, take your side of the mobs, leave their mobs in your camp for aggro (before update) and so forth. There's a whole side of the mountain in Western Altepa to kill beetles and dhamels with and she choose to make our camp hell. Good riddance. Kind heart I think not. And as Whm, please. There's a reason why alot of people dislike her, but there's alot of reasons why others like her as well. My experience have always been the negative, whether in XP pt's with her Whm or her ruining my xp pt's by the above actions.

Real life > FFxi.
Eventually, each of us must decide if and when to end our playtime in FFxi.
Some will decide based on real life commitments, and others will decide the fun factor has dissipated or the drama isn't worth the effort to continue playing FFxi.
I hope when I finally stop playing (hopefully in the distant future since I still enjoy this game) FFxi, I will say my farewells to the nice people and friends I have made in this game and go quietly and with dignity into the good night.
Just my opinion.

In defense of monkey there are two sios. Siobahnn and Siobhan. I believe monkey was thinking of Siobhan.
I've known Siobahnn since she was a level 14 whm in valkurm dunes. I haven't talked to her too much, but every now and then we'd chat. Sio's a great person and sometimes I kind of wished I was able to talk more often to her...like be in the same ls or something.
