If anyone is looking for a Dynamis Linkshell for the EST-5 Time Zone, please consider RoyalGuards.

It is almost certainly the fairest Linkshell in regards to points and currency you will find. We are trying to be flexible for people who work or study full-time, so it's ok if you can only attend once a week.

Our scheduled runs are planned for:
Wednesday 8pm EST
Sunday: 2pm EST

Our first run is estimated to be in 2 weeks time.

You can view a copy of our rules and submit an application form at:
http://www.vanaguide.com/royalguards/

Thanks,
Smp

Ohhh and opportunity to bump up my post ;-)

Few things like:

Web application to track points in real time
Bid from website for armor, saves time before a run
Know from a glance whose attending and which party everyone is in

Aside from the technological benefits, we have full openness and the way our point system works is much fairer then other Linkshells and I'll elaborate on this point.

New members won't be at an unfair advantage over existing members
Ancient Current is there for anyone to acquire using points instead of being exclusive to one person
Leaders don't receive preferential treatment for points, lots, bids, etc
There is no waiting list or next in line for armor, it all depends on the amount you bid on the day
Members bid the amount they think armor is worth to them
New members can lot from day one (using points they expect to earn by attending)

We have the policies in place to remove time wasters, non-team players, etc so we have a productive and enjoyable time. We also have the 'know how' and experience to make this Linkshell last and be successful. This includes in-depth knowledge of strategies and hands on experience (including the harder areas of Dynamis).

You may wanna sign up for calender access at tshot.org. This will avoid less LS drama if you accidently went in when other LSs was scheduled to go in.

In the last 4 days we got 10 members. Looking nicely balanced so far.

Edit:

Now at 16 members.

@16, I'm restraining myself from /shout in Jeuno because I personally would never join a HNM or Dynamis LS which recruits members in that manner. A post here is my limit =)

Hi,

This is a renewed call for new members.

We did recruit enough members but we now have to replenish our ranks for various reasons (lack of commitment or attendance, etc)

The remaining members are very dedicated and are seeking similar dedicated people to join us.

Thank you
Smp

No offence, but shouting in jeuno isn't the best way to guarentee victory. It's about quality not quantity and jeuno shouting isn't the best way to get quality players. ; ; Anyways, i'm in no way ragging on your linkshell :) i wish you the best, and maybe i'll see you 'round.

??? I haven't done any shouts in Jeuno.

I agree, I would not join a Linkshell myself which finds members via shouts.

Good luck! With 16 you could probably do Bastok passably. I'd venture San'doria as well, but it'd be kinda hairy on the pull before the boss. :)

Thanks, we are actually around 35 members now. But having to replace like 10 people for not showing up (2 weeks running) etc.

Guess like any new Linkshell, takes a few weeks to find out who the dedicated members are.

I like the look of most of the rules except for the fact that members are effectively paying both gil AND points for currency. If I were paying for 1/18th or 1/30th of the hourglass I would expect to receive that proportion of the currency as a matter of course, and not (using your example in the 2nd rules post) having to spend effectively nine AF2 pieces worth of points (assuming no other bids too) for a single 100-coin.

Thanks for the feedback. I can't think of a fairer system, I'll try and explain it better.

Aim is to make run entry free or cheap once a LS fund has been established. To help this happen, leaders are paying for first two runs.

Effectively you would be via points being exchanged for currency.

People who want Dynamis Currency get their currency (and more of it). People who just want AF2, just get AF2.

nine AF2 pieces ? AF peices are worth whatever someone is willing to bid. You can't just assume AF2 is worth the minimum bid.

It's unlikely there will be other bids unless demand for currency outstrips supply. Hence why there's a reserve to protect the bank as a safeguard (i.e. your comment about 1/18th or 1/30th of the hourglass I would expect to receive that proportion of the currency)
