Supergirl Final FarewellFollow

Hello All!

I came to a decision to leave FFXI for good. My characters will be deleted. I've been playing this game ever since the "importers" days where I was in the Conferdation. Later, I joined CrimsonBlood and then TShot (aka SF now). Anyway, it is painful for me to tell you all this but I feel no motivation to continue this game anymore. After three years of playing FFXI, I asked myself "What long life goal did I accomplished from playing FFXI?" In the end, I can not come up with an answer except that all this is virtual. Nothing is real. The friends I made are real but will I never hang out with them and laugh with them as I did online? Sadly, the answer to this is "No!"

This decision I made was not easy as I am very addicted to the game. Heck, I played this game for almost three years! But we all must come to face the truth of reality. No matter how we try to hide it. We are fresh and blood. We get sick, we get old, and we died. What we bring with us are legacy to be pass on to our offspring and for those of you lucky enough, you will be remember in history book.

I moved from DC area to Maine for a new job. I feel it is time for me to move on and do things with my life. I feel the need to start a family, buy a house, and enjoy life for what it is. FFXI may be exciting and addictive but it does not satisfy my need. I sometimes asked to myself what I accomplished all these years. I can to an anwser smaller than a goose egg. Hehehe. Kind of crazy that Easter is coming up.

Anyway, with my last week or so, I will relief all my life spending in FFXI to people who are close to me and have been supportive. Who are these people? Well, they are:

Densentsu - You have all my Dynamis Coins. I hope you upgrade your bow!

Siya - For being there for me since the beginning! You helped me on a lot of things during my noob years! Thanks!

Susurrus - Ok! I don't know you that well and I know you're like a poor as hell taru! But I think you are a cool dude. I am working for Department of Navy in Maine! May the light be with you poor taru!

Jski - I don't know what to give you but will try to give you what is left over. You have been very supportive and encouraging.

Anyway, these are the people who are in my "FFXI's will". I will miss all of you but we have to make a decision at some point to contiune with life and not bound by the virtual world. I might play other online games but FFXI have taken a life of its own and I can no longer stand investing that much time into the game anymore.
