Well after leaving the game about a year ago for various reasons and then when starting up playing mmo's again going to EQ2, I've decided to come back. Can't find any classes I really like in EQ2 *shrug*

So I just wanted to say Hi to the people around who I knew before and to those who I never met.

I've heard of some changes while I've been gone. Something about rangers having to be at range and HNM stuff going berzerk. Seeing how I don't play a ranger and am not high enough level to do HNM stuff I'm not too concerned about it right now. But still would like to know about the changes I've missed. So anyone that can fill me in?

Chocobos are now multi-coloured, and their beaks are on the backs of their heads. You get pecked a lot while you're riding one.

Other than that, not much has changed.

Reli!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Like Eekiki said really not that much has changed, the RNG update is probably the biggest thing. You may notice other stuff when you are back, but nothing comes to mind. Bards are still in demand and stuff, so no worries if thats the job/character you are gonna continue playing. The only real other change I can think of is CoP missions and sea stuff.

Glad to see ya back. :)

Well, there is also this thing called "Brenner". I have not had the chance (although if anybody wants to take a guy with 52 SAM along as main I am so there) to try it out yet, I hear that it is like the diorama Abdjis Ghelsba ballista matches excet it places the players in defense of some.... Fort thingyOo?

There have been some new items introduced that you can receive from trading Ancient Beastcons you get from Limbus(not sure if that is the place) to an NPC in Port Jeuno, but you said you are not that high, so no worries there. =)

Lastly there have been some NPC folks from Aht Urghan that dropped by Port Bastok, Southern San'dOria, Windurst Woods, and Upper Jeuno that are quest givers. It is my belief that these quests will probably be the preceeding steps before one is actually able to board the barge from Mhaura to Aht Urghan.
