Hey guys, Im emigrating over from Hydra over to Ragnarok with my LS and was wondering what u guys will think my impressions will be

Well, first of all, the economy is pretty stable atm. It's been better but it could be MUCH worse.
As long as you act intelligently, and know how to play you guys should be fine.
Also, learn how to not use net short-hand. Spell words fully and use them correctly. Words like 'you', 'to', 'be' 'and' 'because' etc.
Other then that, be a good sport and enjoy your stay^^b

Well I also used to play on Fairy awhile back so I am fairly experianced, I am just afraid the economy is going to be too different from what I am used to

Its a nice place. Its my home. I dont know, economy seems to be ok right now. Like the other post said IT HAS BEEN MUCH WORSE! Its good now. People, for the most part well. People are People i guess. Not sure what else to tell you. I like to think our Gillsellers suck. They are easily beat. Very good lvl 75 LS's to enjoy endgame with. So have fun.

Our Economy is probably one of the best on all servers. Problem is with most people when they see something rise in price and ***** about it, they don't realize the consumables go up as well. So the difference in pricing is still there, just at a higher market value.

Your impressions on current server prices might be something along the lines of shock, however we must all adjust to such unfavorable changes.
I can almost guarantee, with the exception of some folks, that your impression of our server's population will be a pleasant one. Be forewarned though, some people that are incredibly knowledgeable and kind in this game might become raving lunatics when trying to level up in Valkrum Dunes. I have found it prudent to simply ignore most of what is said whilst in that litterbox by the sea. So do not worry if you see someone perfectly fine in Jeuno, then ballistic in the Dunes...It has that effect on people.
Last I would expect your impression on NMs to be the same as everyone elses', that most LSs doing them are fair and reasonable in their actions, and gilsellers are somewhat incompetent on our server. \^^/

VDS(Valkurm Dunes Syndrome) is indeed a serious thing :(

While this server has it's fair share of drama and problems just like any other, I'm glad it's where I ended up. It's full of wonderful people who are always willing to lend a hand, which more then makes up for the drama and rude people we have. I think just like irl, just treat those the way you want to be treated and you and your friends will find a good home here. Give Tif a tell if you need anything.

Ragnarok is my... home?
Ragnarok I think is one of the most diverse if not THE diverse server of FFXI. I have played on a few different servers and honestly ragnarok has THE nicest people. Even when they become upset over a party in the Dunes, they apologize. You will also find that this is the most active and ON-TOPIC server forum with people who will not only GIVE you advice but mroe then likely help you out in game.
