Rushing for new jobs?Follow

Sorry if there is another thread like this posted, but I'm just curious.

Out of our server, how many of you will actually rush to unlock the new jobs? I personally will, cause heck, I want to be a pirate! :P

Anyways, out of all the people on our lovely server, who'd be rushing for the new jobs is what I'm asking.





And to those of you living in a hole, for some unknown reason if you hadnt found out the new jobs, they are Blue Mage, Corsair, Puppetmaster. ^_^

Problem will be everyone rushing for new jobs, then cant lvl them cause possibly none can tank or heal.

yeah, i definatly plan on rushing to unlock them because like i posted before, id LOVE to be a pirate :P


but i to am playing bard, while only level 20 i decided that i should get high enough to support another job, and let the hype die down too

BLU all the way, unless they really manage to make the monster abilities weak. BLM RDM NIN DRK DRG BLU. Nothing else appeals to me to take to 75.

Although I may stop at 60 with NIN and BLU just so I can have black ninja and blue ninja outfits. :D

I will probalby use this time to lvl NIN, or do assault or beseiged - both of which look cool...that and the new missions...but you can be sure I will be all over the new crafts and new recipes...

I'll go out to unlock them right away. But, while I'll look into the new items, I'll try to avoid the boards for a few weeks and try to learn everything on my own. I know some friends will know how to unlock BLU, COR, or PUP, so I'll probably ask them if anything. I'm not in a huge rush, but I'll try to unlock them soon enough.

Leveling is another story. Maybe pull them up to 4-10 for some fun and such. It'll be interesting. However, my plan is to spend a lot of time exploring. Maybe even purposefully buy no maps at the beginning except for, possibly, town maps.

However, while I would like to level PLD, I'm not going to level it when ToAU hits. I figure that the amount of people PTing will be low. Might as well explore with friends. But, again, I'll be hesitant to explore solo, because it's 10x cooler an experience when you go with others. I'll probably go with my CoP static (or at least most of them) and see what we can find.

Don't think I'd be rushing, but definitely be sucking up all the new content like 24/7 that week, think its spring break, not sure.. have to check again.

Go Level a new job Hiyo! ... maybe one with MP?

Personally I plan to try to move my rdm up the ladder during the Toau rush. So if you need a healer throw me a /tell :p @level 7 right now

i gotta unlock blue, and test it out some.. with whm and blm sub.
pup looks strange.. cor.. nah no luck for me T_T

I really want to try PUP, depending on what rolls it can play in a party (SE said they don't want them to be "replacements" for other jobs, so we might even see a completely new roll)

Otherwise, I'll have to make a decision between BLU and COR.



But I really wanna break some new ground :D

When I think about it, maybe I can full my MP Merits just in time for when ToAU comes out... then maybe I can try unlocking jobs.. or maybe just wait later if there's a scary frenzy (we ALL remember when NPCs companions were introduced hm?) then I'll do.. something else... who knows :D

The goal is, after all.... to have a whole lotta fun. Prefferably out of Valk c.c;

This is because CoP= no new jobs. With your basic package you had FFXI and Zilart. Zilart =DRG,SMN and SAM... or whatever three. (then again I think I read SMN was unlockable even without Zilart back there... but anyway... not the point)

So yeah, ToAU=Blue Mage, Corsair and Puppetmaster to get.
