From what I've learnt recently, there are like... temporary text files of what your log shows in game that are stored in your directories somewhere. However, I hear it's a bit of a jumbled mess when you open them, but there might be a small chance that you could browse through these for stuff like "so and so casts something", or maybe something similar, and find their name. :o I guess they get overwritten each time you play, so this might not work if you've played for some time since that party.
