This week, Windurstian take control of Ronfaure.
Congratulation to them!

And I think it’s now our time to have the outpost of Sarutabaruta under our control ;)
So I need help of every San d’Orian that could help in this task!
I don’t think that I’m the only one who needs the Outpost of West Sarutabaruta for teleport ;)

I’ll encourage Bastokian to try to taking control of Ronfaure this week and Windurstian to take Gustaberg.
Like that everyone will be happy ;)

(/cheer) (everyone)

(Note: sorry for my spelling)

Yup I'll definitely help out with this.

If only players weren't frigging retarded and try to "defend their nation" in some stupid attempt at roleplaying, all countries could benefit from coordinated effort on everyone's part and all players could benefit.

I'll help. I'm in Windy a lot more this week anyways because it's where the circus is, hence it's the only place where I can bundle Ninja Tools that I make.

The best approach is ... what? To level lowbie jobs in Saru? (Jobs that are still **getting experience and crystals** from whatever you kill, right?)

Leveling lowbies helps, but trading gear helps much more. The NPC-value of the gear is related to the amount of influence it gives.

Good luck with it, I'm hoping to finish OPs soon too :)

I'm going to try to help with this as well, I've always wanted the sarubaruta outpost and it would help so much with bonecraft.

The best method is to trade lots of cheap gear to the outpost on the weekend right before the tally.

OK, what sorts of gear? What do you recommend?
#9 Jan 31 2006 at 9:38 PM Rating: Good
Just buy bronze gear, level 1 stuff. Buy a BUNCH of it. It'll be many many runs between the city and the outpost, but it'll be worth it when you can warp there from across the planet. ^.^

I’ll try this too, but I don’t think that will be sufficient if I’m alone to do it =S

And what about “Expeditionnary Force” ?
#11 Feb 01 2006 at 10:51 AM Rating: Good
I don't believe you can do an expeditionary force in newbie regions.

If you're a crafter, the best thing to do is craft something that you can HQ every once in awhile. Sell the HQ stuff at the AH, and give the NQ stuff to the border shop.

I do it with things I have a 25% chance of HQing, so I can easily make back more than I spent. I like crafting things more than buying things from an NPC, but either method works.

I'll do it also =o
Theres really no easy/quick way to get to Windurst so having that OP will definetly help.

Does it help killing things with a higher lvl job?
Only about 8/100 kills on Drk Quest, can do that there on my 41 War(ugh... still takes forever to kill things) then level Drk there...

I'll trade some stuff to the NPC also.

Well, I levelled my SAM to 10 this day. LS friends had done the same thing with their own jobs. And it seems to be useless…

The only way that left is to trade stuff to the NPC Outpost. Many as we can.
So with my LS friend, we’ll check out the tally and give a try to get control of Saruta that way.
If every Sand’Orian can do the same thing, it will be easier.

/cheer up everyone!!! Let’s take this region under our flag!

Does it help killing things with a higher lvl job?

No. The bigger the level gap (in favor of the mob), the better it is. If you don't get any XP and CP, it won't help.

So this is the way the Windurstians did it?

I was wondering how...

Ill bring some stuff too
#17 Feb 04 2006 at 2:18 AM Rating: Decent
Ronfaure is easy to take control by other nation compare to bastok and windy newbie regions. Because not many people xp low lvl jobs nowadays and many high lvl people xp npc in KRT and tons of 73+ people xp there. All you need just some luck and more windy people xp there that week. Windurstian didn't intentionally try to take control of Ronfaure. Not just this server Ronfaure was took over my bastok or windy on other servers too.

Yeah I really think sandy was screwed out of it I mean they were dominant through the whole tally yet for some reason didnt get it. Good job but something screwed them over =/

They were dominant right afterwards because people traded gear after the results were being tallied. I signed on a few mins after they tallied the data, so I don't know for sure, but I'm guessing they didn't have it before the tally, and they were dominant after it reset because of the gear-trading (to try to get it).

Realistically, if you had control of Saru before the tally, it was probably only "Major", and not "Dominant" at that time. It's incredibly tough to hold "Dominant" status at that time.

Are you guys gonna try for it again? I'm Bastokan but my husband is Sandorian, he's in if this if its gonna happen.

When we took over Saruta, I caught a few /shout's in Bastok and Jeuno about it and thats what really caught my attention. You might consider trying to rally people here but also trying in-game.. you may get 20 annoyed /tell's to shut up but then you may get 1 gung-ho person who'll help.

But don't advertise it as some sort of conquest competition *rolls eyes* Try to push it as what it is and should be: an outpost thing. And not too much spam in jeuno.. although I didnt care how much it was spammed in Bastok since there are few shouts there to begin wtih.

I'll admit, the shouts that got me into it were kinda pushing it as a competition though, but I almost didn't bother because I thought it was silly to be fighting over the map on a competition level.

Anyway, my husband will surely be interested. Have another go at it, guys.
