Windurst -> Gustaberg next weekFollow

#1 Jan 29 2006 at 5:09 PM Rating: Excellent
I'm trying to organize a serverwide takeover of Gustaberg by Windurst.

Please, all Windy people, go trade a couple loads of cheap lowbie armor to the outpost in gusta, level a low job there, etc.

I'm going to plan a few Expeditionary Forces later this week, and I encourage others to do the same.

Bastok people: please don't ruin this. You can have Saruta for a week, we don't care. Just please don't interfere. It won't hurt to lose an outpost you don't use for one week.

You can't do EFs to the 3 lowbie regions (in addition to a few others).

I'll try some HQ crafting at the OP, trading NQs to the gate guard, when I have a chance, in addition to possibly leveling a lowbie job if I have a chance.

edit: I'm even willing to help out other nations get saru for help in this. I'd recommend switching to Windy and grabbing the OP warp this week, even if you don't intend to stay as Windy, just in case you'd eventually like to switch.

Guess I'll have to rally the troops, and defend thy nations honor.

Rally them and take over Saruta ^^ that way both nations win out.

Okay, I can confirm that trading items to the OP guard has a big effect. Windy has dominance at this moment. We can keep it up if everyone pitches in!

It does have a good effect, but as the week goes on, the effect appears much lower since the total "conquest" value is much higher. Regardless, seeing "Dominant" is a great way to get other people started.

Just unlocked 4 new jobs, time to take them to level 10 each to keep Gustaberg under Bastokan control >:D

You won't get your outpost-warps back when you switch back. So when you switch nations you'll have to do them again, even if you decide to switch back to your old nation..

A big thanks to whoever made it possible for us to get the Sandy outpost btw. And yeah, I don't think Windy people would care if Bastok and Sandy people took turns taking over so they could get the Windy outpost. These things make it much easier for crafters and the like to get around. There should be no pride lost in helping out your server mates.

I'll be loading up on cheap gear I make and trading it in towards the end of the week. It'll be nice to finally get this, then I'll have every outpost done.

I'll help out by trading the vast quantity of junk I make skilling bonecraft XD

If you don't trade at all this week, please take a few hours of your time saturday/sunday morning and bring massive loads of junk to the outpost.

I've managed to get quite a few people onboard and we'll keep Windurst in contention all week. We're probably gonna need a big push this weekend. Please, please tell all your Windurstian friends to help out.

Once again, I'm begging Bastokans: please don't interfere. It's just one week. Gustaberg is hardly worth any points in the total conquest tally, and I don't think anyone from Bastok actually uses the outpost. You guys should rally and take Sarutabaruta/Ronfaure too. It's not a competition.

I agree with Kerb.

Conquest means jack squat at the moment anyways. Who cares about "nation pride" in this game? Lot of people have Rank 10 in multiple countries...it doesn't matter at all.

Help out fellow players, so don't try and thwart this in the name of "Bastok Pride" or something like that please...

Anyway, Saturday night/Sunday morning, we're going to make a huge run. I'll probably try to make a few parties so people can set homepoint in bastok and tele/choco/warp/d2 back and forth.

Because it's so that other countries can get the Supply quest finished for that area...

So that it's easier to get from one city to another using OP Teleport. It's about convenience...

Judgement time.

Let the raid commence.

Once I finish some fishing, I can devote a little bit of time to dropping off bronze armour stuff to the gustaberg outpost.
