This is a list of everyone who has ever cut in line at Habetrot.

In case some of of you don't know, there is a sort of unwritten rule at Habetrot. If someone is camping it and it's in their search comment ("Habetrot@8" or w/e), then the polite and respectful thing to do is to queue your turn and wait for them to finish.

I understand that no one is required to wait, but it's just plain rude not to. I've done it the countless times I've camped him, and so have others before/after me.

At any rate, on with the list:

1) Pyronikari - This person was extremely rude. Not only did she cut, but she was very rude in how she reacted when I requested her to wait. "I was here first, I just needed something from MH so... No I don't think I'll wait." and "So what? I'll outclaim you each time anyways."

2) Frankthetank, Pumaira, and Magnumm - They're all one group. While they weren't as rude in their reasons as Pyronikari was, they still decided to cut even though I only had 3 stacks left. I even tried to explain to them in a calm, rational manner how Habetrot worked but they just wouldn't listen. -.-

I made this list simply to warn others who attempt to camp Habetrot to please watch out for these people before you leave because they might try to disrupt you.

Also, if you have anyone you would like to add, please post their name in the form of a reply and explain what they did. Thank you. :)

I'd recommend closing this topic if you really want to keep Habetrot a demi-secret.

I knew about it, but waiting til I get higher before I try.

Heh, maybe we could duo it sometime.

I'm not worried about keeping it secret, it's not like I camp him 24/7. Maybe once every 2-3 days. But I simply want those who do to know who to keep an eye out for.

It's a spawned NM though. It's like waiting in line to fight the NPC NM in Eldieme when it first came out. You waited. Not because you wanted to, but because it was what was decent.

ya lol its not like Ohat or rostrum pumps the sole reason most people camp him is for gil so waiting in line wont work

Add me if you want, I've had to deal with people trying for it at the same time when I tried and did I care? nope they were just faster then me at trading.

This isn't like kirin, where it takes an hours or more to kill whats poped then you have to wait another 15 minutes. This isn't like the NPC NM where you only spawn it once, kill it fast, and then the next person can go instantly. This is a NM that takes a few seconds or minutes to kill, with a 15 second repop and who is a lottery as he doesn't always spawn.

In your Original post you were mad at people becaus eyou only had 3 more stacks, thats 45 minutes+ and you expected them to just wait 45 minutes just so you could do the NM? It's also not like theres nothing else you can do while your there. There are 2-3 NMs right by him.

Sorry, but it doesn't work that way. I would explain why, but you "just wouldn't listen".

As said before, what is this list for, except to start crap about some people who are less than polite? As that is the case, who the hell cares? If you've got enough time to complain about someone's indecency, then you've got enough time to put into other gil producing endeavors.

Personally, if someone is camping a NM before me, I wait my turn. That is common courtesy. But posting someone's name on a forum, because they didn't have the decency to wait reduces you to their level... no, lower. You are the equivalent of the child that tells the playground teacher when some bully cuts you in line for the swing, then thumb your nose at him as the teacher escorts him to the back of the line.

If you want people to act decently, be decent.

Wrong? No, of course not. Childish? Very much so. Suck it up. People aren't going to play fair, in game or in RL. Complaining about it doesn't do anyone any good, least of all yourself. If I complain about some wrong anyone has done to me, I put myself under that person's power. I let them know that they have the ability to control my emotions, and even my actions, through their grievences. This fuels them further, as you can easily see by those who replied that they will vie with us for claims even if we were there first.

If someone wants to act like a bully and challenge your claim, then out claim him. Don't drag his name in the mud for all of Rag to see, because by so doing, you are waist deep in mud yourself.
