Although I did achieve something this week so far, it was pathetically done. If you would like to share any poorly achieved achievements, or any attempts at something that failed, please post them.
Hopefully, some /comfort or /cheer-ing up will be had in understanding that everyone has a bad day/run sometimes.
My Un-achievement:
Taking 4-5:30 hours to level my BST from 19-20. I didn't die once, and i fought constantly, with a little bit of travel. Things just kept going wrong. Like 'Heel' pulling the hate off my pet and onto me. And it just doesn't feel as good as it should.

I've been steam-rolling my mnk leveling the past couple weeks and having a blast. I'm not trying to brag, but it's so much fun leveling another melee job when you can afford to pimp it out. Went from 34-40 like that, put on the wootz-I'm-40-gear, and busted out my first (merited) Raging Fists, man it was sweet! Then like, maybe not quite a week ago, hit Lv50, and finally put on my Cross-Counters (funny story... got the drop a year ago and gave to a MNK friend to use, who has since gotten Destroyers making the CCs mine again. Back then they were 2mil, now they're pushing 9. Heh.), and basked in the joy that was Double Attack. This, for a whole 3300xp until my party (complete with bard! <3 560+ RF) broke.
....Since then, I've yet to get a party, seeking for HOURS at a time. I'll /sea 49-52, and watch one by one as everyone disappears into parties... except me! XD So here I am, my uber-pimp monk, and nothing to do with it but kill tigers in Batallia or beg my LS to go do 40-cap BCNMs.
So yeah. I'm feeling the mnk pain now. And I'm gonna be feeling it for at least another 10 levels.

This week's un-achievement:
Got 250,000 to synth melon pie +1 for a great guy (woofthekiller), so I tell him I'll give him a crazy rebate and make him ten stacks. As I warped to Jeuno to airship to Windurst to do guild points, during my sixth or seventh stack of HQs I noticed that there was literally no Melon pie+1s on AH and they were up to 60K/stack. The guild points were about to change, so I hurried to Windurst. Sweet rice cakes. I muled to get some, sent them to my main character and ran to the guild. It had changed!! Sent the rice cakes back to the mule again, warped to Jeuno, airshipped to Bastok and kept synthing pies. When I had the ten stacks of melon pie +1 covered for my friend, my old chap Portland had abused and undercut the (all right, 60K IS a bit steep I guess) price on melon pies. Now the pies are going for 42K and are probably going to sink further. Grrr.
Well, at least I got enough pies to counter the next outrageous price increase on melon pie+1.
To rub it in further, I made a bet with a real life friend in LS today... "I bet $20 that Portland is in Lower Jeuno synthing and undercutting melon pies, sole sushi or meat mithkabobs." He wasn't there! The first time EVER that he hasn't been there, I had to make a bet about it. My friend was as smart as doing a /sea all portland, noticed he was in Qufim Island and gladly accepted the bet. So, I've lost $20 and an insane opportunity for profit on AH this week hehe... and a chance to get 3000 guild points cheap.
What else? I spent 490K on Erase for a friend. 490K loss hehe. Well, guess I achieved gratitude. (^o^)
Other than that, I got a question, which can be answered in private messages instead of here, so as not to hi-jack the thread's original topic, hee hee... I would be interested (maybe) in buying whole stacks of dragon meat. If there's any linkshell that slay mobs that drops this on a regular basis and would like to sell me large quanta of it, I'd like to get in touch with you. Single dragon meat goes for about 100K at AH, I'll pay the going price x12 for the stacks, and you'll save quite some cash from putting it up on AH. I'm not going to level cooking off of it, I was planning on producing Arrabbiato. Pimp stats: HP+12% (cap 150@1250 base HP), STR+5, VIT+2, INT-7, ATT+22,5% (cap 120@533 base ATT), Store TP+5. I would also like to get in touch with people that would like to use this food. (80K @ AH, lasts 30 minutes. (yes I know, it's sorta steep)).
Just didn't feel like making a whole new thread over some food issue. ^^ To answer the original message, though: Yeah we all have bad days! And to be honest, you deal with yours with a great deal of humor and self-irony, which makes it a) entertaining to hear about your *****-ups and b) so much easier to deal with for yourself ^^

When I was leveling BST in SSG, I managed to find that leech NM (Masan). Of course I can't just leave it alone... well, long story short, I was kiting it around, got it to about 1/3rd, got a mischarm, link, etc, 0 HP. So I decide to rush back on my RDM as fast as possible. I left my sword, dagger and armor in my MH, thinking "Hey, I almost beat it on BST, it should be no problem for my RDM!"
The damn thing almost killed me.
It wasn't just the NM, it was the fact that two leeches linked and I forgot to put Refresh up until I was at about 200 MP. The damn thing hit me for 50-70 a hit WITH Phalanx on. Luckily a PLD saved me and we split the drop.
I want to try fighting it again on BST, maybe when I level up so there aren't any T leeches.

Spent 5 hours LFP on my BLM. My Bolts' price has been undercutted severely, and now I have no money. Time to farm -.-;
Well, yesterday I finally decided to get up off of my lazy butt and level up RDM to 75. I had been level 74 for a few months now. I finally did in a sky party and then we disbanded shortly afterward. Maybe half an hour later, I am out in Rolanberry Fields and I am playing around with my new Thunder III spell. I decide to Chainspell Thunder as many things as I can, I killed a few Crawlers and then a Goblin Leecher. By then, my MP had gone down to 6. Soooo, I decide to Convert since I still had Chainspell up and right before I'm about to cure myself, I take a Ranged Attack from a Goblin Furrier for 7 damage~ I died and downlevelled ;O I hadn't been level 75 for even an hour! :o
I dunno where that Goblin Furrier come, but I guess I somehow linked it.
Oh well, I got my level back anyway, so no harm done :P
